ya that is the suxxor.. did you ever find out which program trojan'd your keylogger.. i'd like to avoid that sorta thing in the future.. altho i'd think with the auto log in to POL that a keylogger wouldn't get your pw very often.. anyone know of a way to prevent it from sending out your info or how to locate one that's hidden on yer comp ? if it's any consolation E, all my codes and account info went up in smoke.. the only way i'll get back on is if it lets me auto log back in my account....

Nah I never found out. The only reason I keep dredging this crap up is because I've been thinking about it a lot the past week after stumbling on the folder with all my XI pic's. I still just wish there was something I could do, even tho all my gear is gone, side MAYBE the r/e stuff, it would just be nice to see Eclypse run around jeuno one last time lol, I feel like I never got to say goodbye. Kinda lame I know, but hey don't we all get attached to our chars? Lol

@Fox; sorry forgot to respond to you question. I am 31 now, ill be 32 in April. I use to be a "wonderer" as you put it hehe. I just met the right girl and decided it was time to settle down. Tho she's getting pretty upset with the fact I want to play XIV when it comes out!!

Do you have the original POL codes and information you put on the acct like address and birthday? You can recall the acct by calling POL nowadays that way.

@Xer; yes I have every POL code, activation code, original address, birthday, email address, everything. The only thing I do not have is the CC number previous and current (the address and CC number were changed on the account) the last time I tryed to get my account back was about last march and they wouldn't let me mainly because of the CC. If they could just give them all the info I have plus they sent me a confermation email I would be a happy Taru lol.

I'd try again until you get a rep who will help you. Usually the POL keys are the big thing needed to recall an acct.

Sounds like there's a ray of hope.. that's really all it should take is the POL codes.. cuz i mean who's gonna have those expect for the guy that bought the friggin game.. no i'm gonna stalk ur address after tracing your IP, break into your house and find your POL codes.. sounds like a bit much to a ffxi character.

@eclyp - there's two things i've found in life that drive most women crazy (the not good kind) 1. a man sleeping later than her and 2. a man playing video games. Don't ask me why it just fires up their blood. You gotta make it understood early on, this is something i like.. it's not gonna stop so make peace with it. For the most part my gf's have always been pretty understanding, lol i told the girl i'm dating now in all seriousness i might take a few weeks off work when the game comes out i've been waiting for this for like 6-7 years and she says "looks like i'll have to play too if i'm ever gonna see ya.." so if there's a hot mithra following me around that totally sux it's prolly her

Which brings up the memory of my good buddy Dankbuds, me an that kid practically started the game together, (we met in west ron running from Orcs) and kept in touch for years.. and then in the last month 2 months he got caught up with that skiz and is like later dood i'm quitting an giving all my shit to her or something.. i was like wha?! what about me dude.. nothing? hello?.. 3 years friendship.. I agree, I'm going to try again within the next couple weeks when I get my new godly computer!! I'm going to put up one hell of a fight for it lmao, and if not well I guess XIV will be out sometime this year.

So~ the final word from SE is because my account has been gone for over a year there is nothing they can do over the phone. I have to write a formal letter to some guy in california explaining what happened to the account and supply him with all the information I have on the account. He will review it and let me know if anything can be done. Such headachs!!

I can only hope lol. I wish XIV would just come out already, but I have a feeling we are waiting till the end of the year for that one!!

How's things going with you the past week Fox? I'm still waiting for the new computer to show up, stupid Dell takes to long!! They said 7-10 buisness days, but the estimated delivery date is March 11th making it 1 day shy of a month!!!

life's good... soakin up some sun and chillaxin on the beach.. but ya XIV is takin forever to come out.. i don't think they've even started to announce who's accepted into beta yet which kinda blows (i hope havin a pretty bad ass computer will help boost my chances of gettin an invite but who knows) Figure it starts the earliest around mid march.. give 6 months-ish for BETA and adjustments.. that's a sept-oct ETA as my guess the earliest, which blows giant donkey balls. I'm startin to think about gettin a ps3 and XIII to hold me over cuz i'm gettin the itch to play somethin new soon. BTW i know XIII comes out on Mar 9th, does anyone have any idea when XIII Versus comes out? i can't find any info and that game looks seriously kick ass. Yes i know it's the same engine, but the game design looks sweet.

Dell's always gotta be built first an then i think the 7-10 days is the shipping.. i think the last one i bought took a while too, but it's been worth it for me, I've owned 2 and they're both beasts, basically problem free for like 4-5+ years each. Usually i prefer the convience of just buyin from Dell, but I built my most recent computer with a friend. it's kind of a pain and i don't think i could do it w/o him but we put together a machine with top of the line parts for like 3k, that would have cost 5 or 6k from a manufacturer. so in the end it's hopefully worth it. As long as you don't fry the CPU or screw up the BIOS.

o ya, I just found out i get a pretty nice discount on Dell's thru my company, like 10-20%. it's prolly too late to pass it on to you tho.. but you could call an ask em. pm me later for details. Peace !
