I hate drama-llama stuff honestly. But this just pissed me off.

I run alttab. We have had the same time slot for dynamis for over 5 years.

We use dynamiscalender.com. Most all the LS dynamis leaders on the server do. It works well, and there is a lot less war between us, and sometimes we even help each other out.

Guyle used to be in my linkshell. Got lots of spiffy AF too.

Left the shell. Is now leader of a Ls (megaboss I believe)

He knows we use the dynamis calender. He doesn't care. Today he stole Xarc from us. After I BEGGED and PLEADED with him to please not. We had it reserved for a MONTH on dynamis calender. And it will mess up our entire schedule for the next 4 weeks.

He steals the zone anyway.

This is the 2nd time he has done this to us, and I hear from other leaders he has done it to them too.

In summary: Stealing zones is an assholeish thing to do. Anyone in that ls, I hope you are proud you have a leader who does that.

Guyle: want to reclaim some dignity? Want to be an adult; and a man? Want to make your linkshell not look bad? Give the leaders your word you'll stop stealing their zones, and start using the dynamis calender and respecting it.

Thank you. That is all. Please note this is in no way an attempt at a flame war. Guyle used to be a cool guy. Honestly of all people I don't know why he would screw us over. But it sucks. And I really hope it doesn't happen again. Two times is plenty. If it ever happens a third time, you'll have made some new enemys.

Someone please feel free to point this out to Guyle. I would love a response from him. I am interested to see if he handles this like a man or like a child. I sincerely hope it's the former.

I really hate when ppl do this, its usually the JP for us :/ Really sucks but you gotta anticipate assholes doing this and spam the trade to break the glass before they do.

he seems to do this to all the ls' he leaves. Did it with BotD, did it with Beacon, did it to Hellick's Limbus LS. Crimeny, he even did it to Megaboss, his own shell when he left to join Az.

There is no way this guy doesn't know about Dynamis Calender, there has been many different versions of the thing for several years.

To the idiot above, no, i'm not trolling. Dynamis was one of the very few things I did in FFXI. I'm asking because if it's some kind of calendar that you just fill out and say "i'm going at this time" then noone is under any obligation to not go before you.

As you can see, it's a simple interface. Zone and time. first come first serve. The ls's don't steal each other's zones, and everyone's happy.

Well to be fair, I know many people that don't know about it. BUT all leaders should. And PLEASE any other dynamis leaders watching this: use it by all means! It's for the benefit of us all. And it's free and easy to use. It should only be used by leaders though, and not abused.

Nothing makes me more mad then when a new, week old LS tries to muscle in on our time slot we have had for over 5 years now without changing lol.

Ok, that answers my question. It's not an official thing, more of a courtesy thing. Something like that should be built into the game and somehow prevent others from taking zones. One thing i've learned in years of gaming, courtesy knows few faces.

they could always set it up so that a certain linkshell has priority then others. Reservation list basically. They won't do it because it would take work.
