And why don't you want health care reform... do you have health care?

No.

Be careful how you answer this question, because if you say no then you are a fool for rejecting a service that you require and it ultimately costs my family money for having to take care of your uninsured ass the second you get hurt.

Incorrect. A healthy person does not "need" health care. I've not been to a doctor in...6+ years if I recall correctly. No signs if illness, disease, or any other reason to waste my money or anyone else's on my personal health care.

If the answer is yes, then you are just a selfish piece of shit who doesn't care about the millions of Americans who continue to get fucked over by a country who could care less if they go bankrupt for cancer treatment or die of a treatable illness.

So what you're saying is you're right and everyone else is nuts, and as usual this thread is a complete and utter waste of net space. Well played good sir, well played. And when I say that, I mean why do you still do this?

Maybe if the government wasn't wasting trillions of dollars destroying other nations instead of rebuilding the unions infrastructure. Maybe if the proverbial shepherds weren't lying to the sheep about health care and the current state of things with HMO's; when they themselves already take advantage of a system similar to what is being proposed. Its good enough for government employees but not good enough for you the person paying for their specialized health care.. hmm hypocrisy much?

Republicans and Neo-cons are the greatest piece of entertainment ever created with their awesome selective memory... Like when the Tea-baggers first appeared on the scene blaming Obama for all the current problems the country is/was facing and completely ignoring the fact the problems originate from policies set by the prior Republican administration...

Now here is something that will forever blow my mind. Republicans wanted Clinton impeached and came close to it for having his dick sucked in the Oval Office. I'm fairly certain he wasn't the first President to do so. Went running around the media heeming and hawing about how if they ran the country they would bring order and respectability to the Executive branch.... Then... comes the Bush Administration rampant with lies and dodgiest of dodgy explanations that basically sounded like "Because I said so, you shouldn't question me and my Executive Privilege how Un-American of you!"; when the very thing to be an American is to question the activities of the people you elected in government and to impeach anybody that uses Executive Privilege as scapegoat for accountability and incompetence...

Republicans know that majority of people living in America are uneducated and align themselves to the guy with smart ass colloquial one liners, they know that these same people have no idea that this a secular nation that was due to the witnessing of intolerance between Catholics and Protestants.

* When I say "Majority" of people of living in America, yes I'm talking about the people that do not live in coastal states aka the heartland where the elephant reigns supreme.

The sad thing is Republicans realized they lost 2008 because there was nothing that could be said for the wake of the Bush Administration. They only thing they can do now is act as obstructionist, stalwart the process until the next election to say "see the Democrats and Obama are incompetent, they couldnt get anything done! Why would you want another 4 years of false promises?" When this is the result of their opposition... it's lunacy that people can't see through this like a wet t-shirt on a pair of double d's.

Democrat: The purpose of health care reform is to curb increasing premiums, increase the number of insured Americans, and prevent abusive practices like barring coverage for preexisting conditions.

Republican: I agree in principle with the spirit of healthcare reform, but it will cost too much (CBO, U LIE!), it's not a free market solution, we should do something... but let's start over.

Palin&Beck2012 Tea Bag Super Friends Justice League: HC reform is the first step for total government control in your lives. Everyone will be implanted with RFID tags (upgraded to nano-machines when the technology becomes available) that will enable Big Brother to monitor every action you take and whether or not a specific service should be rationed to you, nano-machine soldiers, nano-machine weapons ... war has changed. The evil end of times triumvirate of Oprah / Obama / and Tiger Woods Altered-Mode will rule the world and make way for the Dec. 21, 2012 Mayan Nibiru Mexican Zombie apocalypse, which is a precursor to the invasion of the grays aliens who will subject the world to their own style of Interstellar communism.

Let me fix the Democrat one for you..

Democrats: Our rationale for proposed tax on high-cost health insurance plans is that it would encourage people to purchase less-comprehensive coverage and thereby reduce total health care spending.

We think that’s a good idea. But we are unable to explain why our idea is good, yet it's bad when insurers raise premiums. Whatever... Fuck you, you redneck.

That's just an example of politics in any Western nation in general, though. It wasn't that they wanted Clinton impeached for getting it on in the White House, they just wanted Clinton impeached and to make an example of him & his party. It didn't really matter why. Chances are the Democrats would have done the same thing if a Republican president had Monica Lewinsky crouching under his desk - they're always looking for reasons to shoot at each other and just take any chance they get, it often isn't anything to do with the actual topic they're using.

Example; the UK & Argentina's dispute over the Falkland Islands flared up again recently. Obama's administration refused to support the UK's sovereignty over the islands, and numerous conservative websites pitched a hissyfit over Obama not supporting the US' closest ally and rambled on about how Reagan had supported the UK during the Falkland Wars in the 80s, and took the opportunity to bitch about Obama abandoning America's allies and jumping in bed with their idealogical enemies.

What they conveniently left out, however, was that the Reagan administration had actually been neutral on the topic at first too - right up until actual conflict broke out. One might go as far as to say the Obama administration's stance on the topic is positively Reaganite - but redstate.com & co were all over it like it was the biggest betrayal of modern times.

I realise this post has come across as pretty anti-Republican, but my point actually isn't that conservatives are hypocrites (even though I know it sounds that way; I was actually pissed off that the US isn't supporting the UK), my point is both parties are and they'll take any chance they can get to take a shot at each other regardless of the subject matter. Pointing out Republican hypocrisy in the midst of a healthcare debate is a bad, bad way to support your point because the Democrats have been absurdly hypocritical on the topic - and many others - since day one.

I would agree in that in the most frustrating thing about Democrats is that they are to busy trying to a be hero. I mean that in the capacity of individual politicians within the Democratic party will stall the passing of bills in hopes of being the hero who casts the deciding vote and attain a new level of clout. Now the most frustrating thing about Republicans, whether you like them or hate or feel they are insane hypocrites.. is I don't know how they do it but they can get together and agree unanimously on policy regardless of the policy... basically whats wrong with America is that we have a surplus of career politicians which conflicts with it's design.
