I play Morrigan/Roll and Zero/Roll. I love this game, and hae been playing it since japanese release. it's so much of what SFIV should have been.

Oh God Roll is the CHEESIEST CHARACTER EVARRRRRRRRR! That little reploid blueprint is EVIL! ><; SFIV wouldve flopped tho if it had mechanics like this. They made Ryu broken enough as is ( Canceling into Shinkuu Hadouken OR Shin SHouryuken from practically ANYTHING?! CORNER TRAPPING TIMEZ!!! )... yea

If plays anticipate this kind of tactic they can just block the initail assault and simply counter attack. Ive done it before.

That's what hitconfirming is for. Blockstring for blocks, combos on hit.

From the looks of things a normal dash is going twice the distance by means of a frame skipping technique.. I think.

Full screen dashes, basically eliminating knockback, giving several characters infinites from any hit that puts you in the corner.
Gogo Karas BTW. If I had a Wii I'd make people rage.

I can play a lil Karas too. I remember seeing one of the movies.
Concerning the infinite thing, I guess another way to counter this is using Mega Crashes

Roll Says:
Baseball Bat Swing!
Power Pellet!
Baseball Bat Swinf!
Power Pellet!
Water Bucket!
*enemy Trips*
Power Pellet!
Funny thing is, she's actually a very strong character when played offensive. she's just easy to spam and play defensively lol

Does she play better than MvC? I sucked with her on that.

Shes much more powerful than in MvC. But shes way too broken as well. Anyone would get fucking irritated by that Sweep -> Roll Sweep Mash Button technique. Distance is the key here with playing against Roll users. I find Soki to be effective. His H/->+H attacks catch alot of people off gaurd. His QCF+Any button does well too and even cancels into Oni Tactics or Sword of Purification.

Stop tempting me to buy this! None of my friends have a Wii. >_>
But question..
Is there an online mode? If there is an online mode, is it any good?

On MvC2, Roll is the worst character in the game. she has her own tier at the bottom, below bottom tier: the Roll Tier.
In Tatsunoko, she's actually pretty awesome. She can play either super defensive or a good mix game, and she has excellent assist capabilities. She has a very effective healing special (and with certain team combos, you can either heal roll OR her ally. Only works on 3 other people on the roster, though).
Her defense game is played by using her projectile to harry and trip the enemy and using her simpler combos that end in a swing with her bat that sends enemies flying, giving her time to heal herself.
Offensively, she has the advantage of low height, so she goes under alot of enemy attacks and gives her easy openings. She has a "charge" skill that changes the way all of her specials work (that perviously mentioned bat swing becomes a wallbounce, letting her go into more combos, ect), and she has some pretty fun supers.
She's upper mid tier in Tatsunoko.

The Online mode is alright, but the ranking system sucks. Apparently the game thinks a winning rate of 40% is on par with a winning rate of 75%.
