Frodonag Augmented Penance robe and got garbage....I think that's the most anyone did.
There really isn't any SMN releated augments out there from FoV and all the level 50 ones blow anyways. Save your gil.

I've seen screenshots of ppl getting "Pet" augments on gear.

You might've been seeing items from the Tenshodo Coffer. I have a few items from it with Pet stats. Never seen anything from FoV with pet stats though.
