you don't need to complete the windy nation missions to get fenrir, but you do need to do some missions to get diabolos.

i think you will need to be past ToAU missions to get alex, but not for odin. you create alex's bcnm by beating the missions.

i always thought they would give us bahamut in time regardless of what they said because

1. he'll follow anyone who can kick his ass. so him making a pact with people isn't hard.
2. he gives you his whisper.
3. you can use his whisper to get avatar items from him. it just requires a 2nd fight.
4. hes not the only avatar trying to destroy us.
5. he may be the strongest terrestrial avatar, but hes not the strongest avatar out there. technically all 8 celestial avatars are above him in the strength chart and now that we have atomos, bahamut just went down another rank.

i just want to say that you probably shouldnt quote me on this, cos i kinda added my own conjecture in it.
as in.. what I reported isn't wrong but probably gives the wrong impression.

since I got to watch it again, I should specifically say what they mention about new avatars again..

-they changed the way avatars are implemented for Alex/Odin in part due to the ideal of their image of being powerful. And by doing so can help maintain this image balance as well as make them summonable.

-for the raised level caps, avatars will be getting new BPs, and there definitely are new avatars in the works as well.

conjecture is that i said 'bearing in mind the new style of avatars in Alex and Odin don't removes its prestige', but since they've managed to balance that out, it should also IMPLY that their previous statement of "not wanting to make Bahamut lose its prestige" is no longer an issue in terms of implementing him.

I don't know how i got that there was a hint. maybe its said in the part in between the 2 youtube clips where they mention SMN (it cuts right in the middle) or maybe I added that in in my excitement of the possibility. Either way, I'm just going to say my bad first.

The possibility is definitely there now.. but they did not hint at it explicitly.

..but if you can find a reliable source that reported first hand of something similar said then maybe I guess I'm just being cautious.

Meanwhile Looks like I'm not getting any Avatars tonight. Leviathan's gone down. The mergers of servers is too much to handle. WG went down on impact. Trying to zone in led to an auto DC. Then WotG areas went down. Then all cities. Can't log into Leviathan at all. They're having to do more maint on the servers that got merged.

From what I've read Alexander has a level requirement to be summoned. Once he uses Perfect Defense, Astral Flow wears off and he disappears (because all the MPs are gone). Perfect Defense lasted 1 minute and a half without +skill gear (assuming this will have an effect).

Ok, got Alexander (haven't tried him yet) and I'm about to do Odin but there's something that seems weird.
There are 2 Alexander quests and 3 Odin quests but the first one has all the rewards and the pacts so I'm here asking myself what the other 3 quests can possibly do.
Are there any rewards that could go with them or is SE hiding something?
