So how good are the shells on Bismarck? Anything that doesn't camp kings and doesn't suck ass at the same time?

Discoid and Foreal are the shells that camp (bot) HNMs for the most part. They'll have claim parties at later window Tiamats, DS scan / widescan hack DI / sandworm. Not sure about khim / cerb.

There might be an EU shell or two, but I wouldn't worry about those.

Fusion seems to be starting to camp, but I wouldn't put them as one of the servers main shells.
Lunarians doesn't usually camp, except for KB or if someone gets a ToD and wants a drop from another one.
No idea about brosold, don't ever see them at KB.

Nobody wipes, and stuff doesn't usually go yellow unless its something like KB with low numbers (or afk with claim).

Brosold and Lunarians are your first two choices in terms of skill and people in it for LSes that don't camp HNMs regularly or rarely.  Fusion is another and as Khii above said, they started to camp HNMs now.

Discoid and Foreal are pretty much that do-it-all HNM LSes and, yes, they are "rumored" to bot.  Discoid and Foreal do have a very long history just as Lunarians LS.  Discoid dating as far back as IRON and Genesis with very, very few members from there that still play.  Though a lot of ex-IRON are now in Brosold.  Foreal goes as far back as an HNM LS on Unicorn server known as Fortune before merging with Unreal on Bismarck.

In terms of the top NA LSes, Discoid, Brosold, Lunarians, and Fusion would be your choices for endgame.  Foreal is part-NA, part-JP, part-EU, and part-Middle Eastern LS, and a lot of their scheduling is in EU/JP if I'm correct.


Below that, we have various partial-endgame LSes like my friend's LS, TheFates, or Rinako's LS FinalFantasyRejects. AlteredFates is another really good LS, I know majority of the LS, literally.  CUKATA is another good non-HNM LS.  Foobar definitely another good LS, and very tight-nit and skilled.  ArchDominus I would have to say is around here as well since they aren't as big as they were years ago.  They still do a lot of endgame events though, but they're pretty quiet now on Bismarck.

For Japanese LSes, I have to check those again.

Ah, didn't know that.  I still saw a few of their members a couple months back and their website still seems active.  Well, doesn't surprise me.  I know a lot of players that have quit FFXI for AION last year on Bismarck server.
