I wouldn't get an erection just yet. They've only hinted at Meteor so far, which sounds exciting but knowing SE's penchant for seriously nerfing PC spells from the NPC versions makes me a little apprehensive (Think BLU's 1000 Needles). Hell, it may even be a spell ONLY available during Manafont, kind of like they are doing with SMN's and Alexander/Odin. Personally, I just want to see Tier V's... that will make me extremely happy.

BLM/RDM with Convert, Refresh, Haste, Cure IV and tier V nukes... yes, please.

well lets assume you can use anything from sub.

convert... refersh... uh sub sch you can have 6 AOE sleeps back to back to back.

meh shame sch dont get its own gravity or stoneskin ;p

A lot of folks are speculating about the SJ arrangements... I'm far more interested in the god each job will become 76-99.

Sleepga, Sleepga2, Mani+Sleep, Mani+Sleep2, what am i missing? (remembering that /sch you only get 2 strat charges not 4, so you cant do 2x(Mani+sleep > Mani+sleep2))

Im pretty hopefully that while some new armor will be added, most current armor will be upgradable using that new augment system (i forget its name) meaning the current best gear will still be pretty damn good. They have already said you will be able to do it with relic/mythic weapons, so fingers crossed for salvage gear

I'm not thrilled with SE's attitude towards BLM, according to Elmer's report. Not in the slightest.

that is what I was getting at ya. I am not a 99blm/49sch to see how meny you can chain cast. There is a good chance you could do more but i know at lest 6 is possible. I think you get 3 job abilities as a 40 sch i think so that would help cut the recast timer down on a sleep.

I do picture SCH outdoing blm more at 99 then now based on the tread I see SE doing. The only way that can prevent this is our MAB trait. SCH does not have a MAB trait at all, they depend on sub for it. MAB III is 50 or 51 BLM i think? so I do not think they will get more MAB base unless SE adds the trait to SCH. It would also be nice if SCH got gravity and stoneskin naturally so we could sub it. maybe /rdm would be stronger and offset the mp you would save. If you get refersh + convert+ what we get now from /rdm it would be rare to sub sch when rdm can save you a lot more then SCH.

SE said they wanted more options for subs on mage jobs, we do not have that yet. RDM would be able to use /sch more, I picture whm still sticking with it. BLU in a heal mode would get better use out of SCH. For us? i bet nothing will change.
SE will give us a new shinny spell that would repeat the issues of (AM I) i bet. I think they are that clueless.

we get to use abs int now doing/drk? but i still do not see that as a real consideration. like /sch, not enough survivability.

Not really , 60-75 is only +5 or something like that in a stat like my 60 blm/sch had 80 int then at 75 it is 85.

they can scale things however they want. I do not even know why mnks have that much hp, I would like to see taru PLD have a bit more. Yes i know they have good mp and all that but you can only put hp in so many slots while having other needed stats like enmity and haste.
Other then that i really do not care how much hp mnks have. unless there is some problem with mnk/nin tanking more then it should

And it's called Max HP Boost, traits of which there may soon be more.

what if SE made you gain 10hp per level and add one trait upgrade that added 10 hp to it, you have no idea how SE will scale things.

I picture it would be small seeing what my int is at 60 vs 75.

I could be wrong it could be huge, really pointless to argue what they will do.

Sch would still be a stronger DD then rdm. Pretty much sch and rdm both gimp each other. If its at 99, Rdm will have sch's abilities and sch would have rdm's. Only difference is sch will have stronger nukes and stronger whm spells if it wants. Also blm's spells would be stronger, they would have access to sch's 41 spell. That makes your spells stick, with means higher damage and less resistance.

like i said on the SCH thread that spell is no where close to game braking, it does not matter, its like a gimp ES. and you can sub ES

then again if it was like ES i would have a fit cuz it works on one spell >.>

recast is big.

I wonder what spells they will unlock. You still have Tier V Nukes, and Tier IV and V -gas all in Altana. I can only imagine what the damage output of those would be. Each tier about double the damage output of the previous tier. I estimate the Thunder V would do around 3000 damage. ANd if they unlock say Thundaga V it would be around 6000 damage.
