Yeah I went there later last night and the place was flooded, but I usually have events at night anyway, so I'll give that a shot. So long as they don't have a defensive move like the crabs and pugils did. Was so freaking annoying when you WSed right when they used water wall/shell shield and your catastrophe damage got cut in half.

finally on apoc trial #4 birds.
thoughts about best camps? I was thinking of trying to find 5-6 birds in a group (if there are even than) in mire or somewhere. Or suck it up and do colibri and eat the feather tickles? I'm leaning toward colibri since they're so easy to get to.
Any info/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone else notice (I have been just eye balling it as of now, but what caught me off guard) was the amount of % I am draining back. Seems to kick into a higher % more often now, I just need to do some more testing, or just killing 300-400 a day solo is destroying my eyes.

So I'm slowly working my way through the final trial. Thought I would list the locations I used for each trial in case anybody is doing this solo like me.
First trial (Undead):
Bottom level of Garlaige if you are by yourself. I'd suggest regen gear such as shadow breastplate and orochi nodowa if you're by yourself, helps avoid blood aggro.
Eldieme Necropolis (S) also works well, but only if you have a rdm or support job helping you out.
Second Trial (Aquans):
Vunkerl Inlet is by far the best camp for this (the lake that you warp to). Not only are there usually a lot of people there completing aquan trials which you can team up with, but there are both crabs and pugils which you can kill. I used the very end of the area where there were three pugils and three crabs. Was just enough to keep me going, and people usually left it alone.
Third Trial (Lizards):
Uleguerand Range works if you have a support job, otherwise the constant paralyze from the raptors is very annoying.
If you're by yourself I would do Cape Terrigan, up the hill from the OP. There are plenty of sand lizard and raptor spawns there and you can usually find people to team up with.
Fourth Trial (Birds):
These are frustrating, but go by quicker than the other trials. I've found a few camps for this. Leypoint is great if there's no exp party there or if you have support, or other people wanting to do the trial. The other spots I have found are I-6 (I think), which is the entrance to Aydeewa. There are six lesser colibri spawns there. There's also the spot where that one colibri NM spawns that drops fowling earing. Five spawns there, and the NM *is* soloable, but it is hard. The final camp recommendation I have for this is the Marsh Murre camp at Deadmist Marsh, just outside of Nashmau. 13 spawns there, five minute respawn, but it's not really big enough for multiple people.
Hoping I can get my level 80 by the end of the week. 1400 birds to go.

GL man! These trials are quite the task for not much gain. I'm hoping to have my 80 by the next update, not looking good atm too many other fun things to do.

FWAAahhhhHHhhhHHhhHhh.
Finished a few days ago, it's been a hoot. Hitting 2x critical procs for 840 damage is shmazing.
Also got varangian helm, and I don't see any decrease in accuracy with my build, at least from parses. Nocturnus/maat's would probably be better still but I won't have those any time soon.
Now to work on the rest of my trials. damnit.

One thing I kinda wanted to look into is soloing KA so I can sell my speed belt. I know it's been discussed before but I never saw any definite strategy. Would I have a good chance at doing it now as 80 drk/40 nin?

DRK/SAM with multiple NPC soothing healer (70) charges should work just fine.
