Just thought i'd mention for anyone who's familiar with his work, that i met him the other day at my job. i didn't recognize him at first but ended up talkin to him and his wife for a few hours. They're real cool peoples, chatted with them about his books and gaming among other things for a while, for those that don't know he's working on a project with Curt Schilling and Todd McFarlane called 38 Studios to build an MMO due out in '11 i think. They both play a few mmo's but i guess their favorite is WoW ( i'll try not to hold it against him) anyways just thought i'd mention it, sux i don't have a book here with me for him to sign, but if anyone has anything they want me to mention to him or ask em, i'll prolly see him tommorow and maybe sat. Laters.

PS- someone tell Drizzt of Titan i know he'll flip his lid.

I'm more familiar with his contributions to the mass of Star Wars novels out there than anything else.

Ya he was pretty proud of that.. he said George asked him personally to do the novelization of attack of the clones.. so obviously that's a pretty big nod to any writer. funny thing my brother works at lucas arts in San Fran and RAS was there a little while ago talkin to the game programmers when he went to go visit George again. sweet. I think i'm gonna pick up one of his books, this weekend and give it a read. He said the Homeland series is his personal favorite so i'm gonna start there. Another funny coincidence, after he mentioned he was a fantasy writter the first night i met him and before he mentioned who he was, i said the main group of books in that category i've read were all by Terry Brooks, in the Shannara series.. and turns out Terry's one of his best friends. so If you have a chance you should check those out too.. Sword of Shannara is superb. anyways Peace !
