It's been probably about 4 years since I played, last I knew, Sinister was playing on my account but that was probably 3-4+ years ago. So I'm looking for some old pictures of something else but I come across this and am like, holy shit, I don't remember selling my account, did I? Than I realize this is posted yesterday, crazy that my account still has been going since than. Back than I had a 75s NIN, RNG, THF, 66DRK but I guess they leveled Sam as well. It's kind of sad though, over the course of 4 years, the gear didn't improve much. So who's been running around Asura as me? Or am I even on Asura anymore?

I know there are some old heads here still.

Actually edit: just saw your char in sandy, still on Asura, bazaaring some sushi; not that it matters I guess since you won't be getting your char back.

You could probably use the account recall service if you care, sometimes SE gives them back even after a long time. Just say you were hacked :x

no i'm not back nor coming back. my job is to strenuous to be able to play this game, i deal with defense contracting so some weeks i'm only working 45hours, some weeks, 80.. doesn't stop me from playing other games if i choose to but ffxi was too much back than and i could never go back to it. i never wondered what my account would sell for and what it would go for now. i knew i could get thousand+ back in the day as my gear was pretty much top of the line and i was so rich. machina and the server were highly against it and i was too even though people suspected me of RMTing. i just enjoyed killing shit with whoever but the LS's had their beef with each other. I was with Machina forever but I remember I took Fafnir down with the only US players from the top 3 LS's online after a way late maintenance and people looked at me like I was a traitor because of grouping with competition. the game itself promotes good teamwork and socialization but that is one of the flaws that i could never play this game. A lot of people class people as better than others, not as skill but like the way some JPs wouldn't group with us and having to have that dependency on them. I know the game has changed a lot since than and I have received an invite to play FF whatever the new one coming out is but I am also a hardcore addict when it comes to these types of games as my char proved. FFXI was my first MMO and it provided me with a lot of good memories and that's the way I would like to keep it.

Some of you may not have known, I did give away over 100m+ worth of things to the select group of people who I did enjoy the game with before I quit. This was mainly the people who 1 grouped Sky with me, Limbus, all that other crap. Not sure if you guys still do alliances for all those still or if people even do that at all anymore. I was sort of an elitist jerk tho, I would not let people come to some things so I could duo/trio/etc those bosses. When I read the stats of my char recently, I was shocked how almost nothing changed. Whoever played me from 4+ years ago only leveled my DRK from 66 to 75 and SAM... Blacksmithing still same, cooking, etc. I wish I deleted my char rather than give it away to a LS member.

I remember Sinister was playing your account a LONG ASS TIME AGO. I do remember seeing your toon recently what 2-3 weeks ago and asked if it was Sinister, he responded it was his brother playing it.

FYI, cooking is easy to level, i tried to get smithing to make the big bucks like that JP who had all the crafts but i realized it was a bore.

ranger nerf sucked but NIN was my main.. kinda like in WoW, they nerfed Warriors.

considering it but not sure. don't have as much time at all with full time job, job training, and school and deployments so i have a full plate but looking at the fatigue system etc, they are making this a lot more friendly to casual players. i was hardcore back then.. are you going to play?
