(warning: shameless plug ahead)

New to SMN or just want to know what the job's skill sets look like?
This thread is here to help you because embedded here are videos that show you every single summonable avatar and available Blood Pact in the game!

Part I:

Elemental Spirits
Carbuncle
Ifrit
Titan
Leviathan

Part II:

Garuda
Shiva
Ramuh
Fenrir
Diabolos

Part III:
(upcoming)
Alexander
Odin

I couldn't find any complete BP demonstration anywhere on youtube, so I decided to make my own. FFXI's avatar/summoner doesn't get enough love on youtube. I mean, look at other FF Summon videos.. they're everywhere.
I also decided to forego any visual or audio edits to show the game as it was meant to be. Which is why I used PS2 quality gfx (its the lowest denominator in graphics . "Classic" FFXI look). Also because my laptop isn't strong enough to FRAPS well. I used Dazzle.

If you like what you see, or think I did a good job, or just want to get on my good side :P do leave comments and rate 5 stars on the clips themselves. Thanks.

This is dedicated to all fellow Summoners out there, especially to the ones on this forum board. :)
lotsa love

That's pretty good. At first I was like meh, but then I see its actually pretty well done so it made me happy. I like the nice touch after each avatar you lined up the shot and released them. Pretty cool broski! I think your environment could have been better, and sometimes it was too dark, but other than that i liked it!

thanks !

i kinda realised lighting was a slight issue after wrapping up recording.
it just looks so much brighter on my tv >_<

but a problem with FFXI is that its got day/night and there really aren't any good bright dungeon zones to film in. the only one thats perpetually bright is Lumoria's palace grounds, but then they're kinda constrained with pillars and all. and the mobs aren't exactly that friendly for you to solo and film on.

its my first time ever recording on PS2/3 FFXI tho so I think it was a good learning experience.
but thx for pointing it out

Here's hoping they have more than one thing each to show off, eh?

Either way, good work.

Im tempted to make something like this myself hopefully shorter and done by level rather then by avatar
rather then set it to linkin park like every other video on youtube I will probably set it to an in game song and just turn in game music off but leave sound effects on
