Hey look at that...5 years later and my account on KI is still active. I was looking at some old FFXI screenshots that survived many reformats and HDD crashes and ended up here.

Funny this topic popped up...I thought I was the only who was wondering if anyone from the "old days" would be joining FFXIV...

I was never in FM either but my real life friends were back in the day - Rangerbob and Greyson.

I would hold the presses, a lot of us aren't excited at all from what we've seen while playing the BETA. I know there is little chance of me playing at release unless the open BETA drastically changes my mind.

Even then I would keep the server quiet where we do end up playing. We don't want people who annoyed us on XI stalking us in XIV.

the game does have a lot of room for improvement however i dont want to judge a book by its first 2-3 pages.

the system its close to the same thing implemented in ffxi with the subjobs, however, the execution i think is a little bit off. lets hope that they decide to go the WoW route and add rested exp instead of |DRs tho
