They gimped final fantasy 13 so much for the xbox users its rediculous. The shit looks like it can be played on ps2, I doubt they will ever put final fantasy 14 on x-box. Unless they want to lose all people to have to leave it gimp for x-box. So x-box people dream on, buy a pc or a ps3 because this shit not touching you're system.
Final fantasy 14 will never touch x-box

Funny, but not true anymore. As for the op, I kind of doubt that it won't be on 360. If they can get it to play, and Microsoft doesn't pigeonhole them into xbl members only, It will end up on the system.

[Insert 360 and RROD joke here]
In all honestly most gen systems have nothing that looks too interesting for me ATM. I'm more of a retro person so I love the PSN and Wii Shop Chanel* and XBL just feels like a ripoff to me.
*= Back when the Wii Shop Chanel was actually something good, before Nintendo downsized VC releases for WiiWare (Which is total crap).

Games are just gimped when they're originally designed for one console and ported to another. I can honestly tell that the 360 version of Final Fantasy 13 was -NOT- originally intended to be there, and was clearly not well ported. The graphics are disappointing to say the least. A lot of it is pretty, but to someone who enjoys clean graphics, FFXIII is sort of a letdown in that department.
However, FFXIV will be on Xbox. I just doubt we'll be crying about Xbox limitations until about 4+ years into the game's release. Even then, only the PS3 fanboys will be bitching. I highly doubt it will be any problem.
Oh, and OP: Stop being so fucking retarded.

Love how people insist that the 360 has such inferior hardware compared to the PS3, and when it comes to graphical presentation, the PS3 blows the 360 out of the water in every side by side comparison. Considering a lot of articles I've read about games that have been released on both systems, many cases state that the 360 versions run better and have no texture issues while PS3 version is slightly behind. A good example of a recent game that came out, Bayonetta read any review on any site or magazine, and all reviews will say that there are issues with the PS3's version of the game not present in the 360 version (lower textures and other graphical issues). Realistically both systems run very similar quality graphics, people will try to say "look at the numbers" but if you know anything about major companies and their products they'll tote all the pretty numbers they want you to see and not the real numbers (talking bout specs and such on hardware as well as sales numbers).
During the PS2's time in the lime light, Sony flashed huge console sale numbers and based them on new user purchases when in fact most were just repurchases to replace systems that crapped out on people and the warranty didn't cover repairs.
In the end does it really matter if a game, that is currently in it's alpha test phase, eventually come out to the 360? Not really in SE and MS's eyes, as all they care about is the bottom dollar and if there's a wide enough user base they can milk they will do so without caring about future limitations.

the most i care about how a game looks, is as long as i can read the shit on screen, i dont care if i can see the sweat go down lightnings face -.-;;
if a ps3 fanboy wants, i can take a picture of 13 on my tv, and they could run with it, possibly hiding the fact that my tv is a 20ish inch sd that's about 10 years old now...(getting a new one in a month or two, cant stand it with my xbox lol)

What ever happened to games being good because they are actually good, and not because they look pretty... =\

I bought FFXIII for my PS3 and for my xbox 360. It has obviously been designed for the PS3 and ported over, but like Vince said, games are always gimped when they're originally designed for one console and ported to another. It's far from unplayable or anything, and in my humble opinion it's not *that* bad on xbox 360.
Just sayin'

360 games only have issues if the team coding it has no idea what they're doing.
That said, SE has no idea what they're doing when it comes to the 360. All the still unfixed bugs for the 360 in FFXI should attest to this.

Don't buy this game it's not worth it. It runs basically like a movie not a game. Rent it but don't buy it, you're going to be pissed you wasted the money. It basically plays like FFXI but you're not able to talk to the other characters. You're not able to go where you want. You can't even enjoy moving around in the battle. This basically looks like it could have been played on ps2. Final fantasy 12 looks better. I was shocked and disapointed, they changed the game so that it was more focused for x-box users. The X-box users don't like having to run around on the games. I feel they should have let us had a demo version then. I waited 5 years for this game just to feel disapointed. It's no need for even having a guid book lol, the game plays itself. All you do is botton slash pushing.
If you're main character dies the whole game is over. Which sucks badly, you die and rest are alive you still lose. You can't break all cutscenes, you can't really avoid enemies if you want too. There are no towns in this game, so basically i'm watching Final Fantasy 13 the movie. It feels like I got ripped off for a 60 dollar movie disc.

One good thing tho about it, if you get it, you get to play ps3 ff14 beta test. So atleast you have that to look forward too. I think only the ps3 FF13 give the ps3 beta code.

Seriously though, cry some more. Just because you don't enjoy it doesn't mean a lot of other people won't. I personally do enjoy it, and I think your reasons for not liking this game are stupid. Skipping cutscenes? Avoiding enemies? Plays like FFXI? You better be trolling, son.
