I doubt you will be able to play with those speakers, keyboard and mouse.
You'll most likely have to do some upgrading in those areas but once you do
that you should be more than capable of running FFXIV's.

It doesn't have specs yet, but I imagine the beta will have high standards and less to toggle with.

Probably could but i'd recomend going for something quicker so it doesn't become obsolete in 2 years.

However, honestly i'd look most closely @ what other motherboards & CPU you could possible reconfigure in this package

That processor appears to be WEAK & obsolete.

it'll probably be capable of running it but if you're after a gaming rig go all out as much as you can afford on MB/processor/video/RAM

Personally i'll just pick up FF14 for Ps3 when it's released since i know a console is basically built just for gaming and should be able to handle well anything they throw at it...

My PC is a bit outdated but i lack the funds to give a crap.

This is my lol rig:

Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q6600 2.4ghz 1066 FSB 8mb L2 cache

As you can see a T6600 stacks up low even to a processor i bought a few years back, I dont think i'd recommend a quad processor though in all reality, it seems to offer little advantage over a dual core. The only major advantage of it i've seen is i can overclock the piss out of the processor if i want to raise the temperature in my room by about 10 degrees....

However, the Intel I-7 processors do look pretty nice. There are also some pretty nice AMD's out there but i've been sold on Intel since way back in the day.

Asus P5ne-sli mobo

lol 2gb DDR2 ram yes it needs more :(

and lolz Evga 8600GT vid card

It watches porn & movies, plays ffxi plenty good, barely plays crysis on medium settings but who cares i have COD on ps3, and browses the web which is all i need it for lol

GL building or buying or however you're doing it.

yah, nevermind my last post seems irrelevant, i just googled the 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT230M which appears to be a laptop thingy, was assuming that was some kind of new card i hadn't heard of and since it sounded as if you were going for a gaming rig i assumed you meant a desktop PC.

I guess if you are in fact shopping for a laptop, well then, that looks like a decent rig for a laptop sorry for being confused lol.

I shoulda known u meant a laptop if i had read SODIMM ram but w/e.

This is what really threw me into thinking u meant desktop PC tho:

wireless keyboard and HP wireless optical mouse

wireless KB for laptop for wut? i don get it? if u sit back from it u wont be able to see the screen well enough? dont laptops have attached KB usually for that reason? ehh? fuck it lol.
