I was reading this article over at www.ffxivwired.com
And it was showing some classes that should be partially available in alpha.
Such as the Gladiator, Archer, Pugilist, Conjurer, Thaumaturge, ect...
I'm really interested in the Archer because i love distance. I' have a question though, how do you guys think the Archer will fair over compared to the ranger in FFXI?
I love Ranger and i was just wondering your thoughts on the Archer compared to the Ranger.
Will the archer be similar in ways or mostly completely diffrent?

Squeenix have said that Archers will not be able to use guns or crossbows. I suppose that is the major difference. however this archer seem to have some cooler abilities such as being able to fear monsters.

Yeah thats somthing i was thinking, they wouldnt be able to use the same weapons except the Bow's. I think i'll go with Archer!

They also said there would be no more jobs released after CoP RotZ. They also said Diabolos would not become a summon. They also said no more summons would come after Diabolos.

As long as they have a good player base (earning them profit), no matter the game. They will continue to bring updates to that game. Thats how i look at it. So if they say somthing like they have no plans, at the time, they probably didnt have any plans. But they came along later defintely.

I am a fan of bow using archers.. you can't use a gun can call yourself an archer. I also lump crossbows into the 'gun' catagory.

If you read the blacksmiths description it mentions guns, so... yea take it for what you will.

They are all going to become Quincies and use spirit particles to fire arrows from a bow... Yes I have been watching to much Bleach ^.^
