I doubt I'm going to get an answer for this but maybe someone would know. I'm probably going to end up asking the dreadful help service but yeah.

So 2.5 months ago I decided to go to Fenrir for some ballista fun. My plan was to stay there for 3 months and go back to my original server. In order to keep my character name I decided to create an alt with my original name (Nivek) on my original server (lolValefor). Then all of a sudden Server Merge comes tagging along "Kujata + Valefor = Valefor". Kujata has a player with my name, but he quit 3 years ago according to FFXIAH. Normally this wouldn't be a problem since I should be on Valefor so I should be the one keeping my name. But once I'll be able to go back to Valefor the server merge has already been completed. In order to choose my original name I have to delete my alt, now here's the thing. If I delete my alt, will the Kujata Nivek that quit 3 years ago take my name and restrict me from renaming myself to Nivek?

If anyone know it'll save me a lot of trouble~
