I'd like to see a party of H.E.L.M. job classes roam around and gaining more per person than solo players competing with each other for gathering points. It'd be great to see 2 ores instead of 1 for a party of miners.

Well right now I'm soloing with PUP, but who knows about FFXIV. I want to see it in action before I say whether I would prefer solo or group.

I always enjoyed groups good or bad. Good parties I'd leave with a lot of merits or exp gained. Bad parties I'd leave with some funny stories to tell =P

I always like the option of both. grouping when i have the time or there is a big goal. and soloing and puttering around when i am low on time. or just feel antisocial.

Honestly i love the group action that way you make gr8 friends/ gr8 enemys along the way thats what made it a gr8 experience for me in FFXI but ill pull a few solo runs when i aint feelin up to pt and feel i might slow them down.

Soloing while waiting for party would be nice.

I dont know about you guys...but back In the early days of FFXI I would spend HOURS just laying down on my couch waiting for a party.

Both is always a plus, but I really hope that grouping is the faster option.

One of Aion's biggest problems imo was that the game punished you for grouping, it was simply slower than solo grinding - even as a Templar or Cleric.

Looking forward to being able to solo while I LFP in XIV though ^^.

My preference is group play by far. After all, If I wanted to play solo I could just grab an offline rpg and solo to my heart's content.
