Checked ffxiah.com and from what I've seen, no one else uses my name so I guess I'm good for transfer. Granted that doesn't mean people haven't set up mules that haven't used Jueno's AH system, so in the end I might have to change my name, but honestly it's all just a name and I'll come up with a new one if it's needed.

I left valefor and made a mule with my name, I'm planning on coming back though. I just wonder if I will be able to keep my name since there is a nivek on kujata that quit 3 years ago. So once i delete my mule he might take my name eventhough he doesn't play anymore. Though I have no idea of that is true.

That's gonna be fail when SE decides he has to change his name because when I canceled my character on Odin, .....2 years later, I still wasn't allowed to make another character with that name...

Then again I didn't delete the character, just canceled... oh well, it's still fail

Lost my name and even though its just a name i must say it sucks. been playing FFXI since 2003 till current day and to lose your name to a mule or a disable account it sure sucks, other MMO's when doing server merger they give the courtesy and the respect of older player keeping theyr name, but why would SE care about its players/customers.....its crosssing my mind to quit...seriously,

I put the shoe on the other foot sort of speak where someone said it be neat to change my name to a new server, I came back to the game and changed my name back. I want to keep my name for better or worse. it is my identity on the online world and a lot of old friends i knew from 2003-2004 still remember it.
