There are some pretty extreme circumstances that could warrant the use of Samurai Roll over Chaos Roll, but the odds of them coming into play are.. Well, it probably won't ever happen to you. Corsair's Roll on the other hand, is never up for debate.

well this guy felt the need to tell me to fighters roll because they where not killing fast enough, fighters and attack. (does place effect it? was mamool ja savages) but i do not think we ran into thfs, mostly blu nin and blm mobs.

even got a brd that did minuet / march, i thought it was always 2 march, attack roll and exp.

I usually went Fighters/Chaos. However if your PT is good you can probably drop one of those for COR roll.

Slow xp doesn't make a difference. It's the fact that you're improving xp by 15% - 20%.

If you're fairly certain that +ATK or +DA can improve the rate at which you kill shit by at least 15% - 20%, then logically you should roll those. Of course at that point, logically, you should get less shit DD's.

Nothing you roll is going to improve your kill-rate more than Corsair's Roll improves your EXP/kill. This isn't situational.

Not average, it has a minimum of 15% more.

5, 7, 8, 10, 11 (and 7 is the lowest scoring with 15%) are the rolls you should stay on, unless you have bust in effect. If you have 1 bust, then you stay on 6 and 9 (unless bust is shorter than 1 min).

ya next time i will say " you get a minimum of +15% boost with cor roll and no other buff in the game can do that" i think that sounds more impressive. what do you think is the easiest way to explain?

Kick the person. If they were arguing with you about it in the first place, they're not going to understand.

Any time your party is capable of keeping a decent chain then cor roll is >>> all others.

IF you can't keep chain then there is a valid argument for dropping cor roll for fighters, but there is a stronger argument for just leaving the party.

IF your brd is giving march/minuet then it also maybe work changing from chaos to fighters as your DD will be close to capped attack (if they eat food and your rdm is dia-ing).

Dual March + Cor + Chaos, anything less and get new DD.

New party where the cor was doing fighters and chaos roll, talked to leader about it, person ignored and kept going on. I had to tank mobs on utsusemi, little help with sleeps, rdm died from it. the last bunch of rolls seems slow after the last wrong of rolls where i was pulling a bit slow to try to get both buffs hoping one be cor roll. after having like 5 mobs with no help with sleep, and poped fighters and chaos again i said thats it i want to play cor. In the end i left, the leader asked the cor to leave or something so he get a new brd and have me pop on cor then i was happy. I said cor roll nets you a min 15% exp and they said "so you kill faster with fighters roll and chaos roll"l. I do not care what cor subs as long as they can use it ( never saw a useful cor/healer i do not get why JP do that). I do not see rng subing whm in parties ( i herd of it in events though where low healing power) so why do it on cor? the only reason people did it on brd is because it could not do anything else. ( save the broken tank then fix for a different thread)

at this point all i ask is for good light shots and correct rolls, i do not care if the melee want sam roll or brd roll or fighters roll or w/e just as long as the second roll is cor and i get cor/ evokes ( when needed) as healer ( most of the time i can haste everyone brd and cor included with out any buff)
