I'd wager it does, since level syncing works.

Doing Farmhand:
512 > 513 > 514 > 520 > 521 > 522
Best place for killing 300 Hypogriffs with a DMG: 45 scythe?
;
512 > 513 > 514 > 520 > 521 > 522
Best place for killing 300 Hypogriffs with a DMG: 45 scythe?

From what I understand, the new OAT weapons have a 40% proc rate.
I'm curious as to which one would be best now for pure damage: Ultimatum with 105 damage + sword strap, or Vengeance with 78 damage and OAT.

Vengeance on anything you can TP hard would be quite potent.

With a 40% proc your DPS would probably be higher with Vengeance but be prepared for the greatly increased mp sponginess that will inevitably go with it.
If you don't mind dirty looks from the healers, Vengeance could be the drk's version of joytoy.

Hm im building the +4 dex +12 acc one and kind of regretting it now, the 40% OAT has got me interested.

Yea but the OAT weapon wont be so easily obtainable, i was looking at the OAT greatsword and u gotta kill the supercrab and get its shell thingy 10 times, idk wtf u gotta do for the scythe though...plus shit is situational lol...for the most part u wont use the vengence on anything but merit mobs (unless the current trend of face bashing nm's change). Im doing the same scythe + starting a 95 base dmg greatsword at the same time. TBH u can make and work on both scythes. One question i do have is where the vengence will rate in the zerg list.

Just finished Ultimatum yesterday night and went out to play with easy prey colibri, couldnt guillo for less than 1400. Waiting for a meripo pt invite to try on VT birds ; ; waiting never felt so bad.
Can anyone good with math determine whether DRKs who went 105 dmg path would be better off using Cross Reaper and Spiral Hell in situations where we would typically use Spinning Slash and Ground Strike instead?

I guess I'll make both scythes. I'm almost done with my Ultimatum, after that's finished I'll go ahead and do the Vengeance scythe.

Hate you so much. My group disbanded earlier, leaving me at 3/6 Feuerunkes. I can take my scythe to the next JoL to let you know...assuming it's done in time.

I zerg with Bzag atm, am working on this and also wondering where this would stack for zerg. I'm guessing the 2-3hits + lower delay of bzag would outweigh the base dmg, especially considering double SV min/angon/SE/LR etc.

im curious, does the oat 40% apply to both the scythes(45dmg and 78dmg) or is there a reduced oat on the higher dmg one?

What about the Greatsword salamander, it can get 71 dmg and 456 delay vs the 78 base dmg and 508 delay of the vengence. Maybe with the lower delay it might be better for zerging?
