More data on Perfect Defense. Having 2 characters with Alexander makes the things faster.
0~99 MP : 30 sec
100~299 MP: 45 sec
300~599 MP : 60 sec
600~899 MP : 75 sec
900~xxx MP : 90 sec
Always -95% DMG taken in the beginning and starts to decrease at the half time to 50% DMG taken before it disappear. Ex : If Perfect Defense is used at 400 MP, it give -95% DMG taken for 30 sec then -94% -93% -92%... -50% and disappears. %MP or SMN skill have NO effect. Using Perfect Defense with 600/1000 MP or 600/1600 MP makes no difference in the duration/potency.

where did the crap info about the duration not being 1min30 sec based on mp/smn skill come from?

So from the looks of things - SMN Magic / Full HP helps Odin, And 900+ MP helps Alex?

Just thought I'd add... I read somewhere that if Alex or Odin fail to get their bloodpact off, your 2h won't be wasted. Earlier today in Campaign I tried to use Odin on Vee Qiqa's Elemental horde. just as Zanketsuin was going to go off i got slept.. as did Odin

Does PD work vs Charm or Doom if anybody has tested, more so Charm?

not sure tho i would kinda assumed it worked against almost everything statusy...
on another note...
Zantetsuken is a rather fun play tool when you bring SMN into Abyssea to do endless exp alliances.
As a chest opener, SMN can get a lot of 2hr chests, which is fun because you can basically spam zantetsuken as long as you have those.. keeping my MP full and using it, I'd dispatch like 3-5 mobs when they were pulled).. fun stuff.

Doom maybe but not Death. It sure doesn't stop Extremely Bad Breath in Dynamis - Valkurm.
