So heres the thing I already have a DA weapon, and a Soulsaber is kind of a mini Hauteclaire.

so which do you think I should spend my time getting?

My reasoning is I already have a DA sword and while Antea is a superior sword to what i have now, its also butt ugly looking so Im considering getting the Soul Saber for the physical dmg -5%

Going for Soulsaber, on trial 200, Sabotenders suck :x Originally I figured earth weather + Kuftal = np Sabotenders. Apparently there is no earth weather in Kuftal though. So your options are kill a few Sabo's in Q-caves, or sync to a lower level and kill Sabo's in Western, which is what I'm doing. Syncing to 62 Monk on my other account and killing Sabo's.

Anyway, for a full guide on what I did if you were interested.

100 Leeches any weather- Mire is great, just outside Nash, also Mount Z and Bhaf are options, not as good ones but it's decent. I ran between all 3 zones a lot.

100 Beetles any darkness related elemental weather (Earth, Water, Ice, Darkness)- Crawler's Nest and Garliage are great, really the only viable options. I got lucky with a lot of water in CN. Once I cleared the room with 7 Helm Beetles I would sync down to 62 using my alternate account and kill the level 40 beetles. Quicksand caves is another decent option, but you get a lot of Too Weak beetles, sucks. I also considered doing Saurow/e Champagne in the past. You can find Beetles from a Goblin Beastmaster in the area, never got around to trying this but might be a decent option.

100 Any mob in Earth day / weather- Fought sheep in Mire on my RDM, killed Chigoes, got points. Was pretty quick since I did it with 2 BLU's we cleared 100 kills in like 20 minutes. Note: Weaponskills will count for points if it kills the chigoe from DAMAGE. I.E. Circle Blade on 100% Chigoe will NOT work as it just makes them die instantly. However. if you Circle Blade on them from 30% ish, it will work. I just Death Blossomed or Vorpal Bladed usually.

100 Vermin in Earth day / weather- See the above, did the exact same thing

150 Undead Earth day / weather- Ugh. This one sucked. It took me like 9 hours. Eldiew/e Necropolis was nice to me, I had Earth weather fairly consistently for a while. Still sucks, but I did it!

200 Sabotenders earth day / weather- Already went over at the start, it sucks and is very slow and killing them on Earth day is really your only viable option, or killing them few and far between in Q caves. Although someone mentioned there is like 3-5 Sabo's just outside the Chamber of Oracles, so that may be an option, yay for 15 min repops though. Syncing is really your best not earth day option.

Anyway, hope that info helps you or someone else out there in obtaining this pretty sweet sword. I'm pretty excited to finish, just 165 more Sabo's..... /wrists.
Oh and best advice above all else. Find a Red Mage or Blue Mage to team up and do this with, or another PLD w/e, just work with someone! For the Beetle part I teamed up with a couple different Warriors, Gaxe starts off with 100 Beetles any weather so keep em in mind when you get to that step!

yeah teamed with some jp pld's lastnight to kill leeches but got bored after awhile, but they did invite me out to go drinking since im near Tokyo lol. might go back as rdm so i can nuke em and kill a little faster. I agree bringing friends is definently recommended

Nice. I completed mine today, good times, nice to have more PDT options. Anyway keep going and gl on completing!
