So i got the tarutaru weaponskill and i was dispointed it cant sc or do damage, i was wondering if the bastok or sandy can do that? i saw someone used the sandy one that did 300 damage and he said it adds aoe flash effect

does any sc? and what one is best for damage?

Glory Slash has AoE Stun effect. Uriel Blade has AoE Flash effect. Both skill chain Light/Fusion

Right now they're regarded as pieces of crap not worth the AN spent until people figure out the WS modifiers.

I thought I seen someone follow light with one but it was hard to tell because of all the stuff that goes on there. I asked him about it and he said i do not understand skillchain.

fusion and light only? damn that sucks, means i need to follow it with vert cleave or ram charge to get a solo sc on blu. oh well i can finally follow light with something, maybe ill get this glory slash.

ya they need more weapon types but 20 and costing 100k an would be a bit much, maybe they could have a long winded quest to use them with any weapon like nyzel ws.

I think these can do double light too honestly. I swore I seen a few JP with the weps busting lights after I just did a light with Insurgency on my lolDRK.

thats what it means when you say it has a light property, i am wondering if they have a frag prop as well as fusion, that mistake i see could be due to lag though i dont know

i see people doing about 400 ish with them no idea if thatsw good for them or not, trying to level dnc but i did get the bastok one

400ish is actually a major improvement if its consistent. First few screenies I saw of it were 70-90 with the occasional 500 ish (but very rare)

ill let you know when i get dnc to 73 to see the low floor of it snce dnc is weak -.- or ifi can solo a sc with it. but ya i dont think i seen lower then low 400's upper 300's.

I think the wepons could be in proved like having a different effect if your sam or something or make new ones for jobs that do not have high sword skill

however, the selling point is that ti aoes, i seen a rdm ripped off a mob off a pup because the aoe effect kept hitting it. pup got hate back after that puppy ws but still XD.

it was a low man one where people where soloing thier own mobs i was weakned so i was meleeing the one the rdm had.

oh must be magic damage, it does 400+ to elementals too.

I did one 200, rest mid 300,s i did like 350 to 4 mobs, I hit one that did a bit over 400 once. still trying to confrim/ see if ti has frag sc ( like i said might been mistaken due to lag) it is def fusion and light though. this is as 73 dnc with no ws macro

oh I read wiki on the ws, the sandy one IS frag/ light, bastok one is fusion / light
well my bastok one is only doing 80-100 ish on elementals , people with sandy one make it do in 400 range.

I wonder who noted that it does not pierce, maybe the weapon it self may not be i find it hard to beleave the ws it self ant, i did 600-900 ws damage with my 73 dnc on bat aggro, i dont think broke 500 on DE, maybe i didnt have level 5 def down on it, i have no idea but ti shocked me seeing a 900 damage ws, not used to that kind of damage on dnc

I tried it with thf, next experiment i want to do to see if sneak attack works if im behind more then one mob:
anyways i got some pretty sick damage:

these are NMs btw the yag was with assassin's charge and the quadav wasn't but it was in northland and a quadav so pretty high def O_o




also these are 100-120 tp hits, i wonder what 300 tp is like XD

Did you attempt to get a double light at all on it? I swear I seen a bunch of double light now not just off my light ws but RDM's and shit doing it off of others in Campaign. All and all it seems pretty cool if I am not mistaken. I might pick one of these up for my RDM one day for campaign.... mebbe.

when you call a ws " light" that is what it means, yes they do a double light and that is exactly what i did to that wyvern.

when you do SC > light, that light is 150% damage of ws thats why you see 2600 damage light.

lax sword is fusion/ light, meaning it ends fusion, starts gravitation, and ends/ starts light. it can end light with frag sc/ frag ws, light ws, or light sc.

they are like relics, one level 3 property and one level 2 property.

Oh thats neats. And sorry I must have missed the part where you said you got double light. But even still that could equate out to some hawt ass points during campaign if you can do things like 2600 lights

Just remember you are capable of doing damage like that with any WS/SC, you just need to muli step it.

example if i was on sam and did yukki > gekko to make a frag> kasha to make light if my kasha did 1700 points of damage, the light from it is capable of doing 2600, and damage increases as you do more SCS:


there is no spechal bonus damage when relics do double light:
Level _ | _1st_ | _2nd_ | _3rd_ | _4th_ | _5th_
Level 1 | 50%_ | 60%_ | 70%_ | 80%_ | 90%
Level 2 | 60%_ | 75%_ | 100% | 125% | 150%
