I chose Garnet as an example: Kuja destroyed Burmecia (Freya's hometown) as well as Alexandria and Tera, removed Garnet's Eidolons, kidnapped Eiko to try and get hers as well and created the Black Mages (and the issues that Vivi has for being one of them). The only character that doesn't have a reason is Quina really.
Rinoa was quite easy to understand imo but I'll explain I guess. She became a witch because of Ulty (and thus was hated by the world or so she believed), she was controlled by her shortly after and then there's the whole "witch and her knight" thing. Plus the love story and the addition of Seifer (considering he was planned for Dissidia like Kain, Yuna and others) can make this whole thing work well.

I played Dissidia to death and beyond.... Online too. D2 needs Tenzen, Siefer, Seymour ... then I'm happy, also about Shadowlord ... I can see the actual character being the DRK galka then EX mode into SL .... or actual SL being a Boss like Chaos, I would definitly love to see atleast 2 characters on each side from each FF... more alternate clothing... more levels.. SO:LH had 255, also take away the 9999 HP cap and keep the 9999 dmg cap ... it would probably extend alot of fights

Also: the chase system... add some more depth to it, seriously lol. I enjoyed the chase system but online it was a joke and hardly EVER used unless the match was really laggy.

and my final wish: PS3! Doesn't even have to have awesome graphics, just pleaaaase, please get rid of the third party app's just to play online in a versus game.

Big downside of this generation consoles is everyone expects every single game to be flashy and pretty looking... F that bs @_@

Why not? Capcom is already working with Konami by putting a Monster Hunter mini game in the new Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker game. Would be cool to see Ryu vs. Simon Belmont, or MegaMan vs. Sparkster.
