Rings/Earrings Questions

Well tonight I will ding lvl 30 Paladin (Elvaan), I'm currently using 2x Energy earrings+1, Stamina ring+1, and an Astral Ring.

Now when I hit level 30 I have my Rajas waiting for me, I also have a Jaeger(sp?) ring for lvl 34, I'm wondering do I somewhat gear with them or stick to a VIT/MP or VIT/VIT?

Earrings I'm wondering if the Buckler Earring (Shield Skill+3) and maybe Pigeon Earring (HP+20), I also have two times Aura Earrings+1 (MP+6 a piece), until 50 and use Imsomnia AND Antivenom...sorry if i seem like a noob. I typically only level DD jobs, and I lvled Ninja long long time ago, so it was an opposite to what Paladin was.

Thank you in advanced.

gear with mp is always meh, and gear with hp is only relevant if you're worried about getting one shotted
gear for DD and help kill shit faster

Basicly what Tres said. Rajas ring is a good combo until you can get Woodsman rings for the accuracy (It gimps your evasion, but not like PLD was any good at that).

For earrings I'd go with Buckler/Attack Earrings. Besides that Buckler is a great earring for PLD even at 75 unless you go for a Knight's Earring.

So I should use rajas and acc ring or two acc rings? Also would buckler and aura work til 50 and buckler and antivenom? Sorry if I'm annoying just when I level a job I want to be the best at it. Lol

Or is +mp kinda useless as a whole lol

Before bird camps, it's always best to gear offensively to keep hate. At higher levels, you have enough job abilities and spells to cycle for hate more effectively, even to where a THF is more of a benefit than a necessity.

I'd go with a Rajas and DEX ring until 40 then get 2 woodsman rings. You can macro in Rajas for WS.

Also don't bother with aura earring, +5 MP won't do crap for you. Get an attack earring to help you hit harder.

PCC for fights, Parade for resting. Odds are you'll be under the HP to trigger the latnet most of the time.

I'd say use rajas always, but sword WS are pretty shit. WS in what you TP in, minus haste (and STP gear, situationally) Also, like I said before, MP for TP is useless.

1) Get to level 35
2) Find a samurai to tank for you
3) Grab a greatsword
4) Pretend you're a DD
5) Actually be useful
