So I found it pretty interesting that there's, what, 5 Disciplines of War? And yet there's only 2 Disciplines of Magic. I always felt there should be an even melee:magic ratio. Regardless, anyone have any ideas for what other magic classes they may add?

With the small bits of information and SE seeming to merge classes from XI into 14 its anybody's guess as to what direction the magic classes will go.

GiantBomb's section on Final Fantasy XIV has 2 additional classes listed under DoM. Assume these are just rumored but I have been hearing buzz about the Arcanist. Also they have listed a Mystic. Whatcha think?

The classes 'kinda' don't matter at the moment. it's how you configure them. I can't say much more but there's no shortage of magic nor anything else lol.

i believe you can customize and specialize in different areas of magic, so there may only be 2 class names for casters, but in those 2 u can be fire, thunder , light, blah blah
