i think the only time i actualy have beef is when its premade food, like frozen burgers from costco and stuff, cuz my dad goes hunting every year and usualy comes back with a deer or two, so we basicaly get through the entire year just off of ground deer and stuff...i remember once when i was younger, my dad only got a small deer so we ran out of deer meat about halfway through the year, and my mom made hamburgers with beef, i asked her why the deer tasted gross, and she told me it was just beef >.>

then on the opposite end of the spectrum, my brother's girlfriends refuse to eat supper with us if we're having deer meat, cuz to them it tastes gross >.>

also, my dad's allergic to the brassia family...if he eats any, he needs an epipen, if he just SMELLS it cooked, he has to go and take some benadryl and go to sleep
