Griefing COR?

The ring works in a 16' Yalm radius. So as long as the WHM is 16 yalms south of you, you will hit them. That'd why this ring is so good >_> But also frankly Rambus I don't blame you for not catering to a whiney healer. It does sound your like your WHM was making things way more difficult then they should have been at all. I personally would have booted him from party for whining about a roll and it being his fault for not moving in more lol.

might as well as to replay here.

Is there some unwritten rule for the general mass in not hasting cors? I was in a pt today where a melee said " i do not have haste" so trying to be funny I siad i only had one red mage ever that would haste me . then a few people told me cors don't need haste.

my replay in short was, does that mean my 14 haste in gear is useless? -.-

If they're meleeing no point not to haste a COR IMO.

this point i am going to make is not something i wanted to argue in party.

You can not judge how good mp is unless it is stupid shit like 5 mins on covert with 20 mp. if you are running to that why are you hasting anyone?

I can say how do you know if that 160 mp between converts is a real issue when convert could of been up for 2 mins? or the fact most rdms never heal for a tic or 2 in parties between pulls. yes that is possable even now a days because most people dont take damage fighting a new mob right away, cure them, rest, let them tank with ni or seigan. don't just stand there and watch.
Oh ge is that how i keep mp up without mp buffs when others cannot? I do admit though Mamool needs you to be on standby more because stull like AoE is more a commonplace but still -.-

I swear some people dont convert till they have like 100 mp, cast a cure IV someone on a new pull and wonder they died after convert > DS cure IV.

I was talking to a friend in a party i had today, it never fails.

when im on cor I get a bad healer, when i am on rdm i get a bad cor, when i am on a melee job i get a bad cor or rdm.

If your mage is casting constantly and mobs aren't dropping like flies then yeah I can see it in a way (When things got tough in EXP PTs I usually only put myself and the tank in the haste cycle on RDM and WHM). However if stuff is going fine and the healer isn't curing a lot I see no reason not to.

i play whm, so i don't have convert. i don't really know what the point of this post was.... sometimes your mages suck, sometimes your DDs refuse to use seigan. there are a lot of times when i don't have the mp to keep the best DDs hasted. but if i can afford to keep only a few people hasted, it's not usually the cor i worry about.

I was talking about rdms mostly since that is what i mostly pt with.

whm/sch can hold thier own for the most part.

even then mp is not that translusent, there can be one mob where no one needs a cure because the damage has been migrated for the most part, and you can rest in that time, thats about 120-200 mp depending on your set/ killing speed/ w/e ( could gone though 2 mobs like that)

you also have store subi, aspiers, and penudy

Honestly, just pick up the ring and call it a day. It cuts down on a lot of headache when your party likes to roam.

Also, you could have just run over to the WHM and doubled-up for them to keep the peace. You never know exactly how much a person sees while in the middle of a fight. Perhaps they don't have many chat filters set and text is flying by - it would be easy to miss once /party comment saying to gather together.

Get a luzaf ring, then if you miss anyone with cor roll, it's their own fault, but for the most part, Brd's should get used to missing rolls, with them being busy looking for the next mob to pull.

In most cases, it's their fault anyway. By the time you're at 75, you know the distances for your rolls. However, people start doing non-standardized parties come that range and like to move around a lot. Instead of blaming Rambus, they should have checked their process and adjusted to fit the situation within the constraints.
