Hey, recent i installed onto my PC and had to do And install instead of an upgrade. This Took everything from my c:/ windows vista folder and put it in a forlder called windows.old and the went on to install 7. So i still have 11 on my pc and everything but when i got to launch PoL i get an error saying that FFXI isnt installed and then PoL tries to launch and i get a bunch of registry errors.
Is there anyway i can fix this? such as manually regediting or reinstalling pol. If reinstalling PoL is the only route then is it possible to copy over some old PoL files so i can still have my data such as log in info for characters and macros and such?

You should be able to make a copy of your original PoL and FFXI folders -> reinstall PoL and FFXI -> copy the stored folders overtop of the new ones and overwrite everything. Its what I do anytime I need to reinstall of format because it lets you skip the massive update.
