I've been trying to research this piece and I get mixed information. I read in one place that it will give your Wyvern 1 random job trait and i've also read that it will give your Wyvern all job traits (37 and below). Has anyone ever officially confirmed any of this?

I've read that somewhere and read this.. Wyrm Mail @ FFXICLOPEDIA
Either fact is cool since it works even if you take the armor off after summoning, I just wanted to find out for sure because it would open up possibly parses for a couple subs.

i don't think it's random, but from my experience with it... it's either all sj traits (which i presume) or the same set of traits everytime
there's never been a time where it wouldn't have autoregen on it when /whm, zanshin and storetp when /sam, or da when /war... about the only time you'll notice sj traits not carrying over would be /blu

When I used to use it (and when /WAR was cool) I noticed DA would sometimes carry over and sometimes not.

In that regard (DA), it's a 10% proc. It's possible that it was just an unlucky day for procs. I wish it worked as it reads... giving job abilities. Having Drg/Sam with your Wyvern using Meditate would be funny.

It's one random one.
Incorrect. I just finished up testing since all I had was anecdotal evidence to this point. I set a baseline using /BLM to confirm 8.3 TP/hit normal gain. I then switched to /SAM and did continuous testing, first to confirm receiving the Store TP trait; 9.5 TP/hit made this fairly obvious (8.3 base * 1.15 floored to tenths place). Every 5 minutes when Dismiss was ready I would Dismiss/Call Wyvern to test for randomness. Every single call received the Store TP trait. I went through about 10 dismss/call cycles until my wyvern managed to miss and receive a Zanshin proc. Having both Zanshin and Store TP present at the same time disproves a single, random trait being granted by Wyrm Mail. Another simple test would be /WHM and checking for Auto Regen and MDB, the best place for testing being ballista with T1 nukes.
In short, Wyrm Mail grants ALL support job traits to your wyvern.

Since I was in a testing mood I also went ahead and reconfirmed that traits granted by set blue magic spells are not copied over.

I think it's more of the dominant trait of a sj that or the 25ish trait.

i'll take you on that, cause i'm too lazy to go test it myself and confirm/disprove atm
