Going about these NM hunts for the GA moogle quests finally, and before I commit one way or another, I'd really like to know if there is any concrete testing that's been done on the OAT rate for the Luchtaine- if it really is around joytoy, I'm more than willing to sign my self up for the trouble of getting ahold of 10 nails. Hard when you don't currently have a ls that does those runs, but I'd have to try.

I've been looking everywhere, doesn't seem like anyone's even made a trial run with the gimp version (can't blame them, but still).

40%, just like every other OAT Magian weapon. Stick with Fortitude Axe And Rune Chopper.

I've been hearing a lot of *presumed* 45-50%, but even so, for now I am thinking of maybe just going for Bonesplitter, on the off chance that future upgrades after level cap increases will turn it into something very nice (and I do have a hunch that is exactly what the fate of the pure base dmg, no frills weapons will be- as it stands now, the only plus it has on anything is 4 base damage for the loss of acc and att, but time will tell)- akin to the 99 cap's variant of relics, albeit still a -1 poorman's version of the lvl 99 magian upgraded Bravura (and unless I sell everything I own and focus my whole life on dynamis and farming, I don't see that happening before I quit)

The question I think needs to be asked is, with the impending lvl cap increase, how will weapons like RC, Perdu, Fortitude stack against future upgrades using the magian system? Best to be ready to switch tracks when the time comes.

Mind you, that's only a hunch. They could have all new weapons for each lvl cap increase that put all else to shame and aren't even a part of the magian trials, for all I know. I just want to be halfway prepared when the time comes if it involves a lot of grinding nm's.
