Returning COR, seeking weapon and sub advice

OK first hear me out on my situation. I originally leveled corsair to 75 when the job was first released. I really enjoyed the job and used guns/bullets and TPed my way to 75 that way (none of the melee tp > WS as the job has aged, it was very expensive but I felt the payoff was met in the fun I had leveling the job.

Now that I want to use my Corsair again in merit parties I am in a situation of not owning a Joyeuse (because for one I recently returned to the game and lack a LS willing to help me get one which is understandable. So if there are any LS out there on Gilgamesh that would not mind having a COR in their LS for merit pt's, I'm up for some help in getting the Joytoy, LOL!) and simply lacking the funds needed for a M.Kris.

I was looking for the next best alternative to these weapons until I get either, and I was thinking maybe using a Martial Anelace (39 base dmg & TP bonus sword) and making my primary weapon skill Savage Blade while subbing WAR and trying my best to make a solid WS build for it would be the next best thing.

If not that maybe main handing the same weapon and off handing a low dmg dagger to cut delay on /NIN? Or what about the Mensur Epee for the hidden effect of piercing damage on a sword?

I am just looking for some feedback, I am sure there are many COR's that found themselves in similar situations. I actually do have the ability to go /WHM because I have the gear for it, I get invites to JP parties but it is really boring. I am not all about e-peen numbers because I love the role of supporting others, but my problem is I would like to get merit invites earlier in the day and NA/EU players prefer DD COR's, and JP merit parties happen too late at night for me.

Any input is appreciated!

If you don't have a multihit a low delay weapon would probably be your best bet or a Phantom Fleuret can be helpful to.

As for a SJ. I usually went /RNG for Sharpshot and the accuracy bonus traits however /WAR and a Berserk + Slug Shot can pretty much rip lolibri apart.
