"Your mom's people" is possessive; that is, "the people of your mother," i.e. you. I do believe you mean "Don't forget your moms, people."

Today is beaner mothersday. So rise up my fellow beaners and give your mama a hug. I always told my mama that it's not fair she gets two mothersday, a christmas, and a birthday. I'm just saying, I dont think it's fair to get her two gives in a two day period....
