Which WS should I be using in parties? Dancing Edge and Evisceration are both doing about the same. Granted neither of my WS sets for either are any kind of good.

It's because Shark Bite only has level 2 SC properties (Fragmentation) and no level 1 properties, like most of the ~225 skill level WSs.

I know that and i think gekko is the only exception?

I still want to know why it does not work not why the programing does not allow it.

( I/E why did SE make it that way, why did SE give dnc shark bite) makes no sense to me.

I'm not complaining that they gave DNC Shark Bite, not like I'll ever use it anyways. Sure looks cool though.

The Flourish can only act as a lvl 1 skillchain effect. Because Sharkbite only has lvl 2 properties, it would have to be able to act as a lvl 2 effect to SC with it. They basically didn't want DNC to be able to allow people to make Light or Dark with just a Flourish+WS. It would be maybe a little much.

And they gave DNC sharkbite because, well, they did. I don't think they really even considered Wild Flourish when they gave it. It's not like it's one that DNC use all the time anyways when Reverse Flourish is usually the better choice.

how is it a little much when dnc are not seriously sought for activities.

SE said they wanted make sikinki ( that sam tp thing) to make it subalbe to make the division of 2 h vs 1h grater.

point is a lot of peopel can solo scs now a days so how is it "overpowering" and going to be greater when level caps come out.

The point is that building flourish makes it possible for *anyone* to make a self SC, not just the dancer himself. Wild Flourish is 60, so it's not like it can be subbed- therefore if anything having DNC be able to ready others for self light or dark would just widen the gap in favor of 2 handers.

It would also probably make the coding for it more difficult, since then it would have essentially every SC property attached to it.

not really, there is only 4 level 2 sc properties.

and i kinda take it back, if you allow wild flourish to have all 12 sc properties all that would do is make a SC that unlocks the ws A element.

in the case for shark bite it would make fragmentation, not light. wild flourish > eivs is transfixion right? with what i am saying that would change to gravitation. allowing them to unlock level 2s will allow follow ups easier with level 3's

it will not fix the job much but at LEST it allows the JA to do what it is suppose to be doing. it only unlocking level 1 properties is downright stupid.

( you can also give it all 14, why not? the last 2 will only work with true light/ darkness properties witch only relics and 2 campaign battle ws has)

in game it reads "readies target for a skillchain" if it does not work with all WS that can make a SC its not doing its job.

Or you could just use Reverse Flourish and make self-darkness yourself if you really want to make a lvl 3 chain, using WS that don't suck completely, for SC damage that is actually worthwhile.
