Can be obtained from Lamprey Lord, solo takes about 15-20 minutes. I got this earring and tested its effect on Wild Rabbits in east ronfaure, no dark or light day. 50 samples were taken with earring and 50 without it.

Potency is tested to be +1.25%. Or simply +5 damage/drain.

Any Magic Accuracy bonus is unknown atm.

Edit: 50 more drain2 with 318 skill.
+33 Dark Skill gave on avrage +15 damage/drain.

Might be that 2 skill gives 1 damage/drain.
Dark Earring with 3 skill gives then 1.5 damage/drain, where as Hirudinea Earring gives +5. (will do more testing to confirm +5 instead of +1.25%)

Potency is tested to be +3.30% or +11.6 dmg.

Seems like the more Dark Magic skill you have, the more potent on earring.

Made a simple formula:

Drain2 damage = 195 + Skill/2 + (0.225*Skill -60)*u(Skill-266)


Base + Skill/2 + (Hirudinea Earring)



the function u() is a step function, it is 1 when skill > 266, else it is 0.

Drain2 on Wild Rabbits.

Interesting, thank you for testing. I have been wanting to know the effect for a while. It seems to be a very minor increase based on the test.

So then now we got (for a Drain and Aspir macro gear set specifically) :

Abyssal earring + Dark earring Vs. Abyssal earring + Hirudinea Earring ?

Hirudinea Earring would probably be better than a Dark earring, but I do not have a Hirudinea earring so haven't done any testing myself on that.
