Does anyone happen to know what the ranged accuracy penalty is for sidewinder/slug shot at 100tp, 200tp, and 300tp? After scanning various forums, I've seen about 3 different answers so far.

your avatar looks like 6a taru not 2a like in your sig.

anyways there is a funny saying , at 300 tp your gonna miss. I really do not know the answer, always wondered but i think its hard to test or prove what it is

When I asked about this on the COR forums I think someone said -40? I could be wrong.

lol yes, my character is the 2A model. I asked a friend of mine to customize a signature for me, approximately 4 years ago back when I was creaming my pants over how badass Tarutaru Blade: Ten animation looked, which was an accurate representation of my taru but wearing cool looking gear (not that I actually ws in homam or nin afv2).

I always thought the Tarutaru Rng in full AF (most notably the beret) was the coolest looking thing in ffxi but I had no more room left in my sig for it. So I simply google imaged a taru rng wearing AF and added it as my avatar, too bad it was the 6B model.

I remember reading this as one of the answers as well. One guy said:
100tp = -40 R.acc
200tp = 0 R.acc
300tp = +40 R.acc

On Another forum one guy said:
100tp= -40 R.acc
200tp= -20 R.acc
300tp= 0 R.acc

And I read a translated Japanese article (couldn't make much sense out of it) but generally it said:
300tp your going to miss (similar to what Rambus said). Meaning there is still a R.acc penalty at 300tp?

Maybe I'm not sure, someone posted in the COR forums thinking the hitrate is only ~85% capped. I never did much testing since as a COR when I used Slug I stocked up on R.Acc and other crap mostly.
