President Goldagrik and his grammatically-challenged gang of gil-grabbing dungeon delvers are back, this time with a new maze that promises thrills and chills for adventurers the world over!

Intrepid reporters have uncovered a voucher for the newly-formed "Revitalization Team." Nominally established to allow overextended adventurers to let off some steam, it would seem the Moblins' idea of rest and relaxation calls for pitting clients against the most fearsome foes ever to grace their dank and dusty caves.

Fell Formidable Foes: Reap Rich Rewards
Within each Revitalization Team labyrinth awaits the maze master Sadistiq. After giving first-time challengers a "member's card" that will make it possible to record their progress, he will provide a choice of formidable foes which you may pummel to your heart's content to relieve the stress of adventuring and—if all goes well—procure some serious loot in the process.

After choosing your foe, the "relaxation period" will commence. Challengers will have 15 minutes to pound away on their target to the best of their abilities. There will be no pushovers here, so you'll want to cooperate closely with your comrades. Fear not if you cannot fell your foe, however. You may still be eligible for a prize if Sadistiq deems that you have worked off sufficient stress in your attempt.

Still Crueler Challenges Await!
When your time is through, you'll want to show your member's card to Sadistiq once more. Prove your mettle, and you'll be granted the opportunity to take on even more fearsome foes.

An adventurer's life is far from easy. Why not take a few minutes to let off some steam Maze Mongers-style?

Can't wait for the soon-to-be-infinite "You can't enter the instance" messages after this goes live, assuming there's anything of value to be had at all.

Don't worry, it'll be almost instantly followed by the realization that whatever people want only drops if you're Japanese or willing to do the same thing 200 times.

Why does SE think people care about this stuff. Pankration is also dead, hopefully they announce an update for that too.

Sadly SE is basing people's interest in PVP based on the currently implemented systems. So out of touch.

Actually... people do MMM because you can get XP pretty easy in there. ~12k in 30 minutes if you're good. Plus some of the weapons that dropped were pretty respectable.

And some people still do pankration for ZNMs, occasionally. I know its a fast way to build up points for soultrappers/plates when you're low on IS.

I think interest in MMM must vary by server. Nobody on Asura ever did it, but since the merge with Pandemonium I see MMM EXP groups shouting all the time.

I've never really seen shouts for MMM groups, but I know that the Japanese and more than a few Americans do the mazes for XP. I used to solo the Goblin NPC one. The problem is largely one of publicity, I think, 'cause Moblin Mazes have actually justified themselves pretty well EXCEPT for the criminal drop rates.

On Levimora, there's near constant shouts at all times for MMM runs. There's also a fair share in Jeuno. Most of them are JP, but a near equal share is NA.

But yes. Ono makes a point... The publicity on a lot of the minigames is... abysmal at best. And to many just aren't worth the hassle for drops quite often. Though MMM took steps to make it at least easier to attempt a lot of items with the ability to share mazes. There's so many good ideas in it... just poor execution and publicity at times. But on my server... It's pretty big.

SE does need to look at their drop rating system on most events. People put countless amounts of gil into these events just for the thing to not drop. Not talking about MMM specifically, but just in general. People feel less tempted to want to try MMM because the drop never happens. If it did have a decent drop rate, people would be willing to try it more.

But that is what I think, people can think of it the other way and be tempted to keep doing it because it never drops. I quit when MMM came out, so can't speak in particular about what should be improved, but if I spend a million gil+ a week doing events, I better expect a good amount of drops in the event, not lucky to just get one piece. I dunno is MMM requires gil, but knowing SE, I am sure it takes gil out of your pocket one way or another.

I pretty much agree with this. As far as dynamis goes, even with the update to "increase drop rates", it's still not that impressive. We did an entire Xarc run and only got 4 drops and we had quite a bit of the area cleared out. Granted, one of those said drops was a RDM hat (finally), is that enough to justify spending millions of gil doing the zone? I understand SE wants some gear to seem exclusive, but let's get real... In an MMO, you can't really do that without pissing off millions of subscribers. I can see putting a difficult drop rate on certain items, but not to the point it discourages people completely and they end up quitting the game. And considering how old some of this content is, another increase in drop rates should be in order soon... And a noticeable one at that.

What's the problem with spending money of events? Almost all of them easily make you more money than you spent on them.
Not that I disagree with the ridiculous drop rates in this game, but using gil as a reason to be upset about them seems stupid when they're cheap as fuck and should make you money.
