I've never had any interest in the Call of Duty games. However, this trailer is kickass and warrants posting.

Since the game won't be out forever (it's true, I asked a scientist and we clocked the decay of cesium atoms to figure it out), feel free to post more kickass trailers so that I may be duly entertained.

I think MW2 online is a lot better than this:

Less lag, sniping is actually relevant, as is shotgun (bar a few levels), and despite the dumb ballistic knife and the fact that killing someone without unloading half your clip is near impossible, knifing is actually a lot easier to do.


tldr; Unless you find Nazi Zombies worth 60 bucks, either skip this one or rent it for the nice storyline.

Black Ops had easily one of the best single player campaigns ive played since F.E.A.R. This game was simply awesome.
Can't get these FUCKING NUMBERS out of my head!

I have this for 360 and I must admit the multiplayer is absolute garbage. I do love me some zombies though and oddly enough the combat training is more fun that regular multiplayer. I really don't see the reason for needing to be on xbox live for the combat training though.

I thought the spawn selections in MW2 were bad. Then I played Nuketown.

This game is 10x better then mw2. Aside from the lag and the constant kick out from games (which does suck but its easy to get over). Sniping is tough in the game there is not a lot of spots where you can sit back from a distance and actually be a sniper which sucks but adjusting too it wasn't that bad. Knifing has been tweeked a little bit so you can't be five to ten feet away from somebody and still be able to close that distance in a second to knife the person like mw2. Though it still needs to have some adjustments to it, like a cutscene where you can attempt to actually protect yourself and not just be a one shot kill if you are too slow and don't get the knife off first. Shotguns are actually realistically used in the game, mw2 was aweful when someone could run around with two shotguns and shoot and reload them easily(just stupid). Spawning has been a joke since mw1 they need to work on it and somehow have it like the original cod 1 and 2.

The level designs are utter trash and so contrived; for example all the snow levels are pretty much the same damn fucking level. I really gave online a chance but most people I talk to will agree that MW2's multiplayer was ten times better.


The only positive in multiplayer is split screen Xbox live, which is fun if you have friends over and whatnot.

To each his own. I'm personally having a lot more fun with this one then I did with MW2. Of course this game has its faults too(the frequent "
host has left the game crap"), but its not as annoying as MW2 in my opinion.

I'm kicking myself, because I didn't predict that people would immediately pounce upon the multiplayer aspect.

I haven't played Black Ops online yet, nor will I ever. I was talking about the campaign.

Campaign and zombies are good (though I got higher solo on zombies than I ever did on multiplayer, so take that as you will). Haven't and probably won't try multiplayer deathmatches on this unless I get bored.
