Was wondering if anyone could show me any great pieces of gear they use while charging sublimation before an event to pull off a coveted Sublimation 400+ that brings rdms to their knees. Of course I'm talking about gear used before anything important, during an event/hnm/etc there isnt enough time to charge a full high sublimation that hp gear would be viable due to all the gear swapping. I'm just talking things such as Garden Bangles or Root sabots. Note that any head/body pieces are viable since time isnt much of an issue beforehand and as such sch mortarboard/argute gown aren't required.

Im not sure i never looked into it because of this reason.

when you are in idle i put on my af hat and relic body and i guess i should put in hp+ stuff at this time but im never in idel much, when i cast spells or do any sort of action im not going to wair hp gear. all it does is allow you not to use subi not as much saving some up though a long couse of time due not having to pop it on and off as much.

in other words why are you doing this? e peen reasons to show off rdm like you saying? i dont see a lot of pure tatical use of it ecpt maybe charge one big one before event.

if you dont want ot asnwer that thats fine like i said i never looked into it for this reason..

i can say this though , hp egg? XD

Apparently either I didn't clarify that this is for before an event or HNM or people don't understand my reasoning. Before an event such as Einherjar or camping an HNM such as Nidhogg or KB, the smart thing to do is to throw on maximum HP gear and fully charge a sublimation so that when you are first low on MP you can hit sublimation to recover 400+ mp based on merits. Of course no idiot is going to cast everything in hp gear, but this is for when you are in idle/waiting for something. Why waste a rdms mp for 150 mp when you can have 400+ right at the start.

That being answered, any more questions?

P.S. The only reason i make this joke about rdms crying, is that if you are ever a sch at an event you are bound to get the /tell from a rdm "should i refresh you" and you have to clarify that only after you use your original sublimation charge that refresh becomes viable with ixion cloak etc.

maybe look what PLD or ranks might do,

Bloodbread ring ( that leech one, BBQ, HP egg or some range slot i might of not account for, cassie earing.

i am not sure how mp> hp effects the rules though or if select slots do not effect it ( if you know anything about sorcs ring in detail you know why i am stating this)

Anything more readily available you might suggest? I would think White Tathlum might be more appropriate but again, just would care for suggestions of what I might have overlooked, anything plausible is welcome.

you really think +0 to +5 hp is worth 3 million? and that depends on your total idk how high you can reach.

if for some reason you hit 1600 hp egg would be better

I'm in a HNMLS, White Talthum isnt that hard to obtain, also I have multiple jobs that would be able to make use of the MP and Store TP namely blu. And lets stop mentioning the egg lol, I didn't bother doing the Easter Event namely because of the hordes of mules trying to make a profit at selling eggs for 15k/pop. Also, Ammo slot isnt the only slot that could use improvement, have any suggestions on something perhaps a tad more potent.

Prince slops +15 mp/hp over NQ relic, dont know off top my head what hq gives.

RSE mine give +65 on hands or something and +35 on feet

and no my avatar ant an edited version or giving strange hair in strange places its FFXIV taru

also fenir stone but its only for day/night for that +30 hp i think? dont remember

Maximizing sublimation effectiveness is useful. I'll agree w/ rambus that I'm rarely idle, but when I am, extending the duration of sublimation as much as possible will inch it closer to a more constant form of refresh's potency. I've been in multiple situations where literally 3 MP have saved the day. In the end, though, this is a "to each his own" thing.

Sublimation doesn't work with MP > HP gear only +HP

Main - Kirin's Pole
Sub - Axe Grip
Ammo - Verthandi's Gem
Head - AF1(for faster sub filling) Walahra Turban (if you don't care about how fast sub fills)
Neck - Bloodbead Gorget (or Cougar Pendant)
Ears - Morukaka's Earring(if Taru) then any +25HP earring if not
Body - AF2 (see above) Goliard Saio (see above)
Hands - RSE2 (if taru or Mithra) Garden Bangles if not
Rings - BBQ ring + Bloodbead if you don't have those 2, you could look into the +50 HP/MP set rings Dasra's + Nasatya's Ring
Back - Gigant
Waist - Gold Moogle Belt, or RSE2
Legs - Prince's Slops
Feet - Llwyd's Clogs(+4%) or RSE2 if Taru or Hume

I always try and idle in +HP gear when sub is filling, any extra MP is always a blessing IMO.
