EDIT: Hmm, looking at that vid why do I have a feeling these weapons will be the reward for beating Vision of Abyssea? Similar to how they showed rewards for Add-ons in the past.

I like a lot of the weapons and mobs, can't say I like the reskinned morborl/mandy or the dagger, but the rest left me needing a change of pants.

EDIT: Where is the reskinned Malboro? All I seen reskinned were the Mandy/Behemoth.

No opinion on the website really, but the trailer didn't do anything much. Nevertheless I already bought the expansion because I'm pretty sure the level 80 content will be in here (outside of the CoP makeover).

As nice as it is to finally see a new Great Axe design, it's kinda meh. The zone videos look very empty, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what sort of time limit SE enforces/how long you need to wait before reentry. Also, it's nice to get a look at all the weapons, but are we to assume that the armors will be coming from the next two updates?

The Ukonvasara looks a little blunt... But the Caladabolg looks really sweet.

As cool as the weapons look, i still have my doubts, and questions.

Are they final reward, or point traded like the ~50,000imp ToAU?
Only 1 per person, or as many as you have points?
Will they be stage weapons like Mith/Relic, or a solid by?
Are the related to Trial of the M.?
Are they job specific, or divided in to job clusters like the Trial of the M. weapons?
Are they like Hyz. weapons, give WS after 500 - XXXX WSP, and then you can upgrade the weapon?
(this i think SE gave this answer in the video with the new WS's)
and so on..

Edit:
The Sword, Dagger, Scythe, GS, Staff, Club... looked odd at first but i know i seen those models before.
They are same one's used in Aion, look was so familiar i had to check what web page i was on.

Trailer was short... kinda reminded me of ACP. "Oh, something in the sky! Is gud or bad?? dunno" but from the contents of the video, it looks like Abyssea will end up being worthwhile. The weapons, while some look too big or ridiculous (looking at you, dagger and katana), some of them look damn awesome; like the scythe and great katana. Even the gun looks pretty cool. Hope the armor looks good, too, when it comes out.
