I just dinged 65 and I have a Whisper of Frost sitting around. Is it worth grabbing them for soloing use on Ice day? I appreciate the additional effect isn't that great on other days and is obviously less useful in parties.

I'm still using my TMH +2 in groups and Sainti (urgh) solo but I'm camping my Birdbanes and the AH for Poppet Katars.

You will want to deal as much damage as possible if you're soloing with FoV - for better Exp/time and to finish off mobs before they can deal too much damage to you. If the mob hits too hard for you to be unable to cope with it without the Paralyze, look for easier mobs to exp on, Shiva's Claws would be useful for NM soloing at best, but not if you're trying to exp.

If you're soloing you should be using the soulsoother frame anyways and having it cast para along with other debuffs. I wouldn't rely on shiva's claws for anything.

They work great for skill-ups if you have another higher level class that can use them. With so many level sync parties I just use shiva claws on dancer to cap my h2h skill they worked great.

It's been ages. It was good for a while. If I can recall... I used it for up to like what? Lv 55 or is that 60? I can't remember. Get rid of it whenever you can or have better weapons.

I only used them for PUP G5; they are very handy for that fight if you do it on an Ice Day.

In fact, I could only beat PUP G5 with the Shiva's Claws.. after a few failed attempts with different H2Hs.

GET SOME BIRDBANES FOR BIRD PARTIES if u wanna do some real dmg. tho they become usless at 75 they are the best damn thing too exp w/ post 58
