Seriously, who's dumb enough to do normal parties anymore? Just throw anyone you want into Abyssea as long as it's a decent mix of melee, mage, and support, and make sure they're not so droolingly retarded that they're unable to kill weak mobs and, boom, there's your XP without even having to worry.

imho it doeesn't bring you closer to brd since there's always a healer with enough MP too take care of the whole party (haste is 40mp and times that by 4 DD for 160mp) and if you tried to do that, you'd probably need refresh or to /heal at some point i'd guess. This is just what i think especially since a brd/whm (if any still sub whm) would be far too self reliant in this matter. If anything, it just adds more mana to cor/whm. This is only from an outsider's point of view and assuming you are either pulling or damage dealing.
