These are all the confirmed titles on the 3DS so far. From Kotaku.

Holy crap at that list. Atlus just made Persona for the PSP now pumping it out on the 3DS? And SE is remaking FF again?

Did I die and go to heaven? 3DS sounds awesome.

I hope SE makes use out of that Final Fantasy title. Like......Final Fantasy V 3DS, followed by VI 3DS. >_>

As for Dragon Quest, I hope they bring back Dragon Quest 1-3, or a port of DQ7.

I'd kill for a FF5/6 remake like FF1/FF2 on the PSP. As long as they take out the cheesy lines in the FF5 localization.

Penny-Arcade did the perfect sum up of E3 this year.

My thoughts on E3:

Nintendo:
3DS is brilliant. Powerful machine, 3D that works, amazing lineup of games, added an analogue nub, can take 3D photos, can store whole games on internal memory so you don't have to carry the cartridges...just brilliant. I'm not a particularly big fan of Nintendo (or handheld gaming for that matter) but even I'm excited for this.

As for the Wii, a great roster of first party games on show, plenty to get excited about, although they do seem to be showing the Wii's technical inferiority up. Goldeneye looked...poor, graphically. A worrying lack of third party support as always, with only Epic Mickey truly standing out.

All in all, a great showing from Nintendo with the excellent 3DS and great first party lineup providing more than enough distractions from the glaring lack of third party support for the Wii.

Microsoft:

Kinect looks shit. I love my recently rediscovered 360, I really do, but I just can't see Kinect appealing to any major market. Casual gamers won't fork out the cash for it, especially since they likely already have a Wii, and core gamers have already turned up their noses and likely won't be converted. I'm completely unexcited by it, I don't know of anyone that's genuinely looking forward to its release.

The new slim 360 was a really nice unveiling, a 250gb hard drive and built in wireless increase its value for money. That said, it is rather late to be releasing a redesigned unit and although Microsoft assure us that the new 360 is much less prone to RROD, it remains to be seen.

As for titles, there were few to get excited about. Halo Reach, GoW 3 and such were present, but we already knew they were coming. Nothing really raised any eyebrows.

The ESPN announcement was probably the best thing going for MS in their E3 lineup, which is...sad, really.

Overall, a pretty poor showing from Microsoft, which is a shame, because I was really routing for them.

Sony:
Move seems to be performing pretty well. Unlike Kinect, it has modest appeal to both markets: Casual gamers may find that, combined with the PS3's greater multimedia functions (As a blu ray player in particular) and its similarity but supposed superiority to the familiar Wii mote, it may warrent a purchase if supported well. It may see limited success with the hardcore market too, as it will no doubt see presence as an alternative control scheme in many future games, as well as re-releases or DLC updates of older games. I have to admit, I totally enjoy Wii FPS controls and Resident Evil 4's greatest version was undeniably the Wii Edition, so it could be quite refreshing to use Move for core games. That said, it is difficult to get genuinely excited over what is essentially a Wiimote with a glowing ball attached.

As with Microsoft, there were few titles to get excited about. Metal Gear Solid Rising looks promising, and the announcement that Portal 2 will be coming to PS3 as well as the 360 is no doubt a boon to PS3 owners, but Sony could have and should have been much stronger in this area.

A disappointing showing from Sony, but not bad. Just...mediocre.

Final thoughts: All three had their strong moments and at least one or two things to get excited about, but Nintendo "won", in no small part thanks to the 3DS.
