Blood Pact: Rage "Holy Mist" (SMN Lv.76)
Deals light elemental damage to an enemy.

Blood Pact: Rage "Lunar Bay" (SMN Lv.78)
Deals darkness damage to an enemy.

Blood Pact: Rage "Night Terror" (SMN Lv.80)
Deals darkness damage to an enemy.

Blood Boon SMN Lv.60 Occasionally cuts down MP cost of Blood Pact abilities. Does not affect abilities that require Astral Flow.

Assuming...

Carby-holy mist
fenrir-lunar bay
diab-Night terror

Can't.... stop.... faping....

Although, I do feel kinda flustered that it's only those three... But I guess we'll see the other avatars get some love after the next cap increases.

Welcome Blood Boon the most..

hoping that the new BPs will be comparable or better than merit BPs.
Also hoping the 2 dark ele BPs are differentiated by effect or aoe or something... we don't really need 2 of them.

also looking forward to eq that enhance Blood Boon now..

btw, to anyone with a viewer and an updated list or knowledge on how to edit your list..

I'm pretty sure Rom/246/67-69 are our 3 new BPs..

Holy Mist is = Holy 2 animation
Lunar Bay is a pretty meteor shower + 1 asteroid animation
and
Night Terror is some reddish blackish thing that ends with stuff coming out of the ground.

It makes sense because the 3 of them are lined up in perfect order.. and also because Holy 2 was not mentioned in the notes.

we all can agree which pact belongs to who.

some of us are confused why we have fenrir and diabolos both doing a darkness damage pact.

this makes me think that maybe lunar bay might be affected by the moon phase while night terror might be affected by the time of day.

would you doubt it if it worked that way?

though graphically different, i can't wait to see how they work differently.

with all my magic accuracy and pet mab my carby's mist will hurt a lot.

Good guess, it'll probably work that way. What I think is Lunar Bay might be magical and Night Terror will be physical, Fenrir lacks magical BP and Diabolos lacks physical BP so...

That is totally funny because I also sent SE ideas for SMN and they implemented it. I sent them the idea of avatar auras which became our Avatar's Favor :) Sadly, I never said to nerf our dmg if we used it...they screwed me over!

A legitimate Dark elemental nuke in the game would be nice. It's a little awkward being a Blood Pact, but it makes sense. I fear that you guys will be right and they'll be tied to moon and daylight phase, though, which makes Fenrir and Diabolos needlessly more tedious than they should be, in my opinion, anyhow.

They could also possibly have additional effects. Howling Moon has an additional effect of STR reduction, but it's not noted anywhere in the description. Maybe if we're lucky we'll have a curse or terror effect on Night Terror.

They may also behave differently from everything else in the game thus far, like Nether Blast.

Either way, it'll be interesting having BPs on Fenrir and Diabolos that are worth storing TP for (assuming these are affected by TP like most magic pacts)

Edit: just had a really interesting idea, what if Night Terror can only be used against mobs that are asleep, and doesn't wake them. Might be a fun mechanic.

lupus makes a very good guess on their possible differences..
its almost certain that they will in fact be different somehow...

they both look more magical than physical, but its kinda hard to say for Diabolos..

If time/moonphase affects them I guess it might also depend on how much they're affected by them which might make them more or less useful.

Additional effects arent listed but one might think Night Terror might be associated with stasuses Sleep or Terror, both of which would be pretty nifty.

A BP that does decent damage and sleeps the mob at the same time would be pretty useful in the SMNs arsenal, kinda like a super darkness magic Pinecone Bomb
