I'm not excited at all about Sonic Thrust, it looks like garbage.

The animation isnt very flashy sure. But if these modifiers are true it could replace Wheeling Thrust as our single hitter.

Depends on any native pDif boost it might have and if there are any mobs in the area.

How many areas have mobs that are a danger and cannot be instantly controlled? It's a very narrow cone, anyhow, and Dragoon isn't positional like Samurai or Thief.

Heh, unless there are other mobs right on top of you. The AoE is directly in front of you (maybe a narrow cone?); overall it wasn't very hard to avoid hitting other mobs when I was messing with it in a pt @ bhauflau.

It was a DRG burn and we were all playing with Sonic a bit, trying it with other WS to see what skill chains it created. I think Sonic >> Sonic was Distortion. On a few occasions we purposefully pulled extra birds so we could WS on them at the same time; the neat thing is the AoE dmg doesn't seem to be reduced on multiple targets so we were able to kill both fairly quickly with a few Sonics. I don't remember if it skill chained on both though, it was like 2am ; ;

True, the only time you'll be using this is on higher level things which ideally shouldn't have adds as well.

True, but I'm glad we were given a reliable Single Hit WS that can replace Wheeling.

So now drgs can clear out multiple birds and create a bhauflau tunnel party with leech spots and all? I'm sure i wasn't the only one here thinking about that.
