Hey all,

I'm updating the guide, but I need your help. I no longer play, but from what I've read, there doesn't seem to be much to update. I understand there are new skills and jobs, but can anyone clue me in? Remember, the guide serves new Samurai to get them started, so a perspective for new players is preferred. It isn't an end-game guide.

There isn't much changing at low levels as far as we know yet. However, the Visions of Abyssea event might prove to be some good XP from 30+. Also, Sekkanoki was changed to lv40.

Cool, thanks! I'll leave that up to the other guide(s) then to cover that. Wish I had the new Samurai abilities n stuff back when I played. LOL

Is Darkwill still updating his guide? I found it funny that he calls mine "out of date" and his guide will make mine next to unnecessary, but I thoroughly read his guide and it doesn't cover nor replace anything my guide outlines. It's a fantastic guide, though. Anyway, his guide seems to be the perfect place for the Visions of Abyssea updates.

The new jobs Corsair, Blue Mage, and Puppetmaster don't seem to affect Samurai, but I don't know why I omitted Ninja. Other than solo'ing, Samurai/Ninja isn't good for parties, no? I mean from a Lv1-60 point-of-view. I don't recall it being good at Lv75, either.

Maybe I should change my guide's name to "How To Samurai" lol...
