Holy Mist, Lunar Bay and Night Terror Great Animation, Blah Damage!!

I didn't get a screenshot of the damage, but it was 577.

I tried Holy Mist out on Beach Bunnies in Cape Teriggan once I hit 76. You got 577 on an Imp and I got roughly the same on an EP mob. Additionally, I think this BP is ranged.

Looks like a light elemental Nether Blast.

Also, I did about 150 more dmg when carby had 200+% tp. So perhaps TP based too?

P.S. I love that they used the supposed "Holy 2" animation from the dats.

I'm not to impressed, but carby needed a better DD move, hope other two moves are a bit more powerful than 75BP's

Youre 1 lvl higher than 75 and expect a bp to be better than merited ones? Esp on an avatar thats free and generally weaker? Wow.

i'm disappointed.. but mainly for the fact I'm using 50ish more MP to do about the same damage using Carby.

edit: omg lol the range is terrible. at like 7" it will still fail to go off. Effective range seems to be about 5'... like meteorite


o btw, not sure if this has been the case a while...
Feather Tickle reduces avatars TP to 0 now? isntead of half?

I did 923 damage on Windy's final BCNM. Don't know what really happened though as I was doing like 500 damage and all of a sudden it went up to 923 (and no, I didn't MB). Used Royal Redingote in all situations.
I'm quite pleased honestly, it doesn't suck as much as Meteorite.

Looking forward to hearing about the two other BPs, too. Working on PUP at the moment, but maybe I'll recapp SMN next...

I'm just really happy it's a new thing and it's a pretty thing ^-^;;

Cap80 isn't the end. With these new abilities and WSs, even though some incredibly suck, I'm amazed at how much we got just for 5 extra levels and can't wait for the rest.

Lunar Bay seems much better than Holy Mist but its range is also 5"....

none that I can tell on Lunar Bay.. but didnt really play with it much on anything that didnt die from it..

Night Terror info i got from a friend who happened to ding 80 at the time. no hard mobs either.. so idk yet

Ok now I'm sure. Either Carbuncle has a new trait or Holy Mist can crit.
This time it happened in Einherjar and despite the double dark weather he managed to hit for 900+ again without TP. Wasn't Lightsday either.

Testing night terror in tahrongi on rabbits/bees/saplings. Night terror doing around 999 to mobs. Here's the fun part, mobs that are slept take around 1400 dmg.

Additional enfeebles don't add damage.

This does wake mobs.

Vollbow Rarab:
~900 unslept
~1300 slept

TP affects Night Terror
MAB affects Night Terror

It would seem it would be safe to assume holy mist and lunar bay could be stronger due to other conditions like night terror.

I'd like to figure out Holy Mist, the damage is all over the place. I mean, against those Imps I first tested it on, I did about 350ish. In campaign, I get about 550ish, and against normal mobs anywhere from TW to EM, I get about 800-900. Did a 915 Magic Burst with it on a light skillchain in Abyssea last night.
