Holy Mist, Lunar Bay and Night Terror Great Animation, Blah Damage!!

For holy mist, try out things like, current mp, and current hp of the mob.

Or, maybe it's just random like meteorite.

Btw, smn hastega cap raised to 5 mins.

It doesn't work like Meteorite at all. I can get constant 500-600 damage even on harder things and it can spike up to 900+ without MB and weather/day bonuses. I can also kinda confirm that HP of the mob and MP have no effect on this as I was getting normal numbers again after that one.
TP also doesn't count in this case as a 300% TP Holy Mist can't reach that kind of damage. I'm also pretty sure it has nothing to do with enfeebles on the enemy considering the first time I got that spike the RDM was busy doing something else and didn't cast anything on the main target.
Lunar Bay may get a boost at night though considering Night Terror is affected by sleep. Kinda sucks that it's really not that easy to take advantage of :(
I like these new abilities honestly... can't wait to see what they have in store for the other avatars.

seems elemental siphon is capped at 350 skill, cant break 330mp when using the spirit that matches the day.

thats weird...

i was campaigning for my merits to break g6 and my siphons were perfectly fine..

i havent skilled up an entire point level since i broke limit but i'm seeing normal siphons so far..
did a 378 double dark in Walk of Echoes 2 days back

lvl 80, 356 smn skill, used element of the day, no weather, regained 330 mp. According to the current equation, this should have been 336. I still think the smn skill that applies to ES is capped at 350.

Spira did you do your ES on darksday?

for that one it was double weather , irrelevant day..

Yep, using ES on the day of the elemental, irrelevant weather, 330 mp every time with 359 skill

Edit: btw, rolling thunder duration is no longer capped at 3 mins

It doesn't beat a fully merited 75 pact, but that's pretty nice over all.

This was with a 20% moon phase. I'm going to try again at full moon. See if maybe that makes a difference.

To sum it up, Hastega, Rolling Thunder, Lightning Armor, and Frost Armor are no longer capped at 3 mins. All terrestrial buff pacts are still capped at 3 mins.

Tried Night Terror again today, used Night Terror off the bat with the mob slept, did 1306. Then Diabolos melee'd the mob for awhile, the mob was slept again and Night Terror was used and it did 1306 again.

Tried Night Terror without sleeping, did 899 on the mob, built TP, then did it again and got 986 damage.

In conclusion it seems like using the sleeping trick with this either treats Night Terror like it has a massive amount of TP, or ignores TP entirely.
