Because I'm a critical hit whore. I think 6% more is sexy. And an increased rate of crits from fencer, plus increased damage from crits at about 5% at 80 might make it somewhat competitive again. Especially if you dont mind spending 500 WS points to unlock it vs killing 100's more mobs than you need WS pts to get the full upgrade. Granted its not the end all or be all, but its worth some testing.
